I guess T.I. is the King of the South, he just inked a $10 million deal with Axe grooming products to headline a 50 city tour sponsored by the company. As of press, there is no word on when the tour will take off or who will be the opening acts.
As I previously reported, Harlem rappers Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Freekey Zekey all got together at a construction site in Brooklyn to unify Dipset, by filming a video http://yodonbleekraps.com/2010/06/12/breaking-news-pictures-from-dipset-reunion-shoot-in-brooklyn/. As of posting, I am not sure when the actual video will be released, but below is a sneak peek/promo video to “Under Construction.” Fans can expect a new Dipset album the last quarter of this year or the first quarter of next year. It has been four years since we all saw Dipset together. This is a great look for Harlem.

In an exclusive interview with Rolling Out, Miami femcee Trina shared her views on the Lil Kim/Nicki Minaj beef. Peep what Trina had to say.
“I know Lil Kim and she’s a beautiful person. In this game, we all love and respect her,” said Trina. “You can’t come into the game without crossing her path. I feel like it is blown over the top. I don’t feel Nicki Minaj feels like she’s being disrespectful to Kim. I saw where she paid homage to Kim. If it’s something beyond that between them, I can’t say because I don’t know. But I know that Nicki said she loved Kim and that she opened the doors for us. If I heard her pay homage to her, I don’t know what else she can say. I haven’t followed [the] situations closely, but I think we need to tighten it up. You don’t see T.I. dissing Jay-Z; Jay-Z dissing JD; or Rick Ross dissing Kanye West. As women we have to unify. It’s about being a woman and getting your business right.”
“People may be mad if I say that, but Nicki is a fresh face for hip-hop. We’ve been in our 10-year run and we have done a spectacular job. Kim, Eve, Missy and I can still put out records. We don’t have to worry about what anyone else is doing because we have been there. Kim is iconic in hip-hop.”
“If I could talk to both of them, I would kiss them on the cheek and say let’s all make music and do ‘Ladies Night’ part two and go on tour. We need to put the BS to rest.”

Harlem Rapper/CEO Cam’ron and his protegé Vado stopped by the Funk Flex show on H0t 97 last night (June 21st); Vado spit a freestyle over Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm.” I swear Vado is a f**king problem. Beside Jay Electronica, I haven’t felt a rapper this much since the late great Notorious B.I.G and Jay-Z back in the 90’s. In my opinion, Vado is Next 2 Blow from New York City.
Jay-Z protegé/Roc Nation first signed artist J.Cole has released the official video to “Who Dat,” which is the first single off of his debut album, dropping this fall.
