Chi-Town rapper Kanye West will be dropping his most anticipated album Good Ass Job on the same day that his protegé Kid Cudi is dropping his forthcoming LP Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager. Both albums are due in stores and online September 14th.
Kanye has been in Hawaii recording his album and I heard this new Ye album is bringing it back to the foundation of Hip-Hop. A friend of mines, was at the listening session and he said, “Ye’s album is defiantly going be a f**king problem and Ye took it back to real Hip-Hop.”
As far as Kid Cudi new album, I didn’t hear too much about it besides, he’s bringing funky groove music back.
This past Thursday (June 24th) 50 Cent’s Invitation tour stopped at the House of Blues in Boston, during 50 Cent performances he fired shots at Diddy.
50 asked the crowd “How many of yall fucking with Puffy?” 50 then started rapping Diddy’s “Hello, Good Morning” and did a funny dance as well. After that, 50 said, “F**k that n***a.”
Honestly, I think 50 is just jealous that Diddy is now managing Rick Ross. Every male rapper from New York that is hotter than 50 or have a bigger buzz than 50 at the moment, 50 diss them. He did the same with Jay-Z.
As I previously reported, Dipset is back together and they are in the studio working on a reunion album. The new Dipset album should be in stores the end of this year or the top of next year. The homie DJ Funk Flex over at Hot 97 FM in New York dropped the bomb to Dipset’s new song “Salute.” It have been four years since we heard a new Dipset record.
This is just my personal opinion, I think Dipset should have come a little harder. This song is just okay. By the way, it’s going to take more than Dipset to bring New York Hip-Hop back.
Are you guys feeling the record, and what do you think about Dipset getting back together? Leave a comment.
