Slime Flu: Harlem Rapper Vado Album Cover

After months of waiting, Cam’ron protegé Vado will be dropping his debut street album Slime Flu on October 12th. The artwork for the album has been released. On the cover, Vado is standing behind a pool table looking all Dap and Don in a black suit, with a white shirt and tie.  As of posting, there wasn’t any official tracklist available. Slime Flu will be release through E1 Records (formerly Koch).

New Music: Lloyd Banks “King/Do My Thing”

The Punchline King is back with another dope freestyle. Each week Banks will be releasing a freestyle up until his album drops. Banks is the next thing out of Queens. He has been making a positive impact since he dropped his debut album Hunger For More back in 2004. The album sold over 433,000 copies in the first week and over three million copies worldwide. From what I’m hearing, the quality of Hunger For More 2 is much better than Hunger For More. Banks just received a goal plaque for selling over 500,000 downloads of his single “Beamer, Benz, or Bentley,” and he did that independently.

Banks forthcoming LP Hunger For More 2 will be in stores and online November 23.

Banks is one of the younger New York artist that’s still relevant and has the potential of becoming one of the best artists to ever come out of New York, when his career is over with.
