New Video: Joe Budden “Follow My Lead”

Please check the four side banner ads on the right and take advantage of the exclusive offers.

New Jersey emcee Joe Budden just released the official video to “Follow My Lead,” which is the lead single off of his latest mixtape Mood Muzik 4. MM4 is now in stores and online via  E1 (formerly Koch Records). This track is some real stuff, and I can definitely relate to it. I don’t need the money, I don’t need the fame or pain. I just want to be successful and wealthy.

I’m so glad to be from New Jersey because the homie Joe Budden murdered this track. “Lyrically, beside Fab, Banks and Cassidy, it’s not another rapper touching Joe Budden.” I don’t want to be bias, so I will ask you guys, who verse do you like the best?

Shout out to the entire state of New Jersey; Brick City, Trenton, Patterson, East Orange, but I come from Camden. I am the best thing out of Jersey since Naughty by Nature and Queen Latifah.

Juelz Santana Speaks On Dipset’s Relationship With Mase, “I Don’t Got No Personal Feelings Towards Him.”

Please check the four side banner ads on the right and take advantage of the exclusive offers.

In an exclusive interview with Vlad TV, Harlem rapper Juelz Santana spoke about Dipset’s relationship with Mase. Ju Ju said that he has no issues with Mase and any beef with him was “inherited” because of his ties with Dipset.

For me that was something that was inherited. That was a problem that was kinda like inherited…I never really said nothing about Mase because it was something that I never knew too much about. That’s like somebody new getting with Jim or Cam trying to talk about our situation as Diplomats. For one, they shouldn’t allow them to, at the end of the day. And for two, you don’t really know too much about that situation.”-Juelz Santana

“I don’t got no personal feelings towards Mase…I can only move in the direction that’s right. If it’s something I don’t know about or something, if I’m with my brothers, just like nobody is gonna let nothing happen to me and vice versa,” said Santana. “People know me, I’m not there to get into it or entertain or start talking about something that don’t concern me.”-Juelz Santana

Ghostface And Special Guest Sheek Louch Brings out Raekwon Style P & Brand Nubian At BB King Blues In NYC

Please check the four side banner ads on the right and take advantage of the exclusive offers.

Over the weekend, Hip-Hop Legend Ghostface Killah of the Wu Tang Clan, with opening act, D-Block/Def Jam new signee Sheek Louch played B.B. Kings in Manhattan.

Friday (September 22) was a night to remember; Ghostface Killah and Sheek Louch brought old skool and classic Hip-Hop back to the city. Before the crowd threw up their W’s, which symbolize Wu Tang Clan, 1/3 of the Lox Sheek Louch took the stage. He opened up the show performing some of his classic records and surprised the wall-to-wall jam-packed crowd by bringing out his rhyme spitter partner Style P. The duo ran through a couple of tracks including “Wildout” and “Money Power & Respect” before Sheek closed his set with “All 20 Of Them,” a dope track for the ladies.

New York is defiantly “the city that never sleep” because the screaming fans waited until a little after 2:00am for Ghostface to take the stage. He ran onto the stage keeping it very Hip-Hop and reppin New York by wearing a blue Yankee fitted cap. He opened his set with “Run” and “Nutmeg.” I mean, the crowd went crazy, started throwing up their W’s and screamed “Wu Tang Wu Tang” when Ghostface burst onto the stage. Ghostface also ran through some of his classic tracks such as “Ice Cream” and “Be easy.” Peep the video below.

Please check the four side banner ads on the right and take advantage of the exclusive offers.

Is Philly in the f**king buiding, is what Meek Millz screamed to a sold out crowd (20,000) at the Power 99 FM’s Powerhouse concert in Philly. The show took place this past Friday (October 22) at the Wachovia Center in Philly. The Philly emcee ran through some of his most classic and successful hits such as “The Wait Is Over,” “I’m So Fly,” “I’m Ill,” “In My Bag” and “Rose Red.” Meek brought DJ Drama back to Philly, as well as surprised the crowd by bringing out Gillie Da Kid. I wasn’t able to make it to the Powerhouse concert this year because I was covering Ghostface and Sheek Louch concern at BB King Blues in NYC for XXL magazine but I heard Meek did a great job. Peep some videos below.

I’m so proud of Meek Millz and his success. He represents what a great emcee should be. He has the music, talent, swag and style. Honestly, “I don’t think Philly had an artist this dope since Beanie Sigel.” Meek’s biggest record “Make Em Say” peaked # 94 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart.

New Music: Lloyd Banks “When I Get There”

Please check the four side banner ads on the right and take advantage of the exclusive offers.

The purple weed probably have Banks in a cloudy sky. The Blue Hefner is back this with another dope track.  As I previously reported, each week Banks will be releasing a track up until his album drops. This week Banks dropped a dope track called “When I Get There.” This record is hard; lately Banks has been going in. He’s proving to the fans that he is here to stay, so get familiar with his music. In my opinion, besides 50 Cent, Banks is the hottest rapper to come out of Queens since Nas and LL Cool J. Honestly, when will people start giving Banks the credit that he deserve? He’s hotter than 85% of the rappers in the industry. Listen to the track below.

On November 22nd, Lloyd Banks will be releasing his forthcoming LP Hunger For More 2. 50 Cent, Kanye West, Em, Ryan Leslie, Swizz Beatz, Fabolous, Jeremih, Tony Yayo, Style P and Chris Brown will all be appearing on Bank’s new album The Hunger For More 2 .

Swizz Beatz Fashion Spread In GQ Magazine

Please check the four side banner ads on the right and take advantage of the exclusive offers.

Super producer Swizz Beatz has a three page fashion spread in the November issue of GQ magazine. In the spread, Swizzy shares some of his fashion tips, such as how to pull off a bow tie and how to wear it your way. Swizzy style is so dope. I love how he wear his clothes fitted. Over-sized tees and baggy jeans, we off that.

Swizzy is out there getting money. He also has endorsement deals with Christian Louboutin, Aston Martin, and Audemars Piguet.

Jay-Z And Kanye West Are Working On A Full Album

Please check the four side banner ads on the right and take advantage of the exclusive offers.

As I previously reported, Jay-Z and his little brother Kanye West was releasing an EP together http://yodonbleekraps.com/2010/08/27/jay-z-and-his-little-brother-kanye-west-releasing-an-joint-ep/, Now the EP has turned into a full album. The full album is still called Watch The Throne. During an interview with Sway of MTV, Ye said “We putting out a whole album now. We had done five [songs] so far, but then a few of them kind of were out there, and I put them on my album. Sorry, Jay. But we got some more, and we’re going to the South of France at the end of the month to just record new ideas. But we’ll probably be done with the album in a day.”

Q-Tip and Pete Rock will both be producing on Jay’s and Ye’s full length studio album. As of posting, no word on when the album will hit shelves. Most likely, the album will come out under Roc Nation.

Jay and Ye doing an entire album together is a great look for Hip-Hip. I can’t wait to hear the album. Hip-Hop need more artists like Jay and Ye.  Two of the greatest rappers coming together to put out an album will be bigger than what Hip-Hop can ever imagine.
