Dope Or Nope? Young Jeezy “Hustle Hard” (G-Mix) Official Video

The official video to Atlanta’s rapper Young Jeezy “Hustle Hard” (G-Mix) has been released. The video was directed by DecaturDan and shot on Duncan & Napier Ave in Atlanta, Georgia. In the video, Young Jeezy invited his entire neighborhood to the shoot, which features a street gang that he’s affiliated with.  It’s cool to see that Jeezy still gets love in his community. I think the song is dope. Jeezy was spitting some real stuff. Peep the video below:

Breaking News: Jay-Z’s Former Artist Tru Life Sentenced To Eight Years In Prison

Earlier today, Wednesday (February 23) Former Roc-La-Familia artist Tru Life was sentenced to eight years in prison for his role in the stabbing death of Christopher Guerrero following an altercation that also included his brother Marcus Rosado, back in 2009. Marcus Rosado, who also plead guilty will be serving 10 years. Tru Life pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges.

Below is a statement from their lawyer Alan A. Ambramson:

Robert and Marcus Rosado accepted responsibility today for their role in the tragic incident that occurred in June 2009. They wish to express their deepest sympathies to the Guerrero family and they hope that by accepting responsibility he can bring some measure of closure to the family.”

Carmelo Anthony & La La Vazquez Returns To VH1 With “La La Full Court Life”

Carmelo Anthony and his wife La La Vazquez-Anthony are making headlines this week. This past Monday, it was announced that Melo signed a three-year contract with the New York Knicks for $65 million dollars. Earlier today, Wednesday (February 23), it was announced that Melo and La La will be returning to VH1 with La La’s Full Court Life. The new series is scheduled to premiere this August.

The productions for the show began filming last month and will pick up where La La’s Full Court Wedding left off. The show will be about La La’s life, as a wife, mother, dealing with parenting issues, and juggling her busy acting and television-show hosting career. Also, the show will be preparing Melo’s moved back to his hometown NYC. VH1 confirmed that there will be appearances from La La’s famous friends, including 50 Cent, Kelly Rowland, Trina, Serena Williams and Ciara.

Jeff Olde, EVP of Original Programming and Productions at VH1 said:

“Viewers connect with La La because despite the fairy tale wedding and NBA star husband, she is a real, down to Earth, hardworking woman who stays true to herself.  The best thing about the new series is that while pursuing and realizing her dreams, La La gets to take us back to her home in New York, where her story began.”

Dope Throwback: Jim Jones & Cam’ron Vs. Mase Live On Hot 97, Plus Pimp C Diss Young Jeezy & Atlanta Rappers

A few years ago, Mase was live on New York’s Hot 97 with former morning show host Miss Jones. During Mase interview, he talked about growing up and playing ball with his former childhood friends Cam’ron and Jim Jones. Mase mentioned that one of his biggest regrets at that time was falling out of touch with Cam’ron. When Mase started to explained the story about charging $50,000 over the “Horse and Carriage” video and how he took Cam to Biggie (RIP) house to get his deal;  Jim Jones and Cam’ron called in and all hell broke loose.
