BREAKING NEWS: Brooklyn Judge Drops Charge Against Foxy Brown

According to the NYPost, a Brooklyn judge dropped a charge against platinum-selling rapper Foxy Brown in her mooning case. Brown, was facing prosecution for allegedly violating an order of protection last year by mooning a jealous neighbor with whom she had been having issues with for the past few years. Below is how the NYPost is reporting the story:

Raunchy rapper Foxy Brown won’t need to reveal her legal briefs and embark on an “underwear defense” for mooning her neighbor after a Brooklyn judge decided today to drop the charge against her. Brown, 31, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was facing prosecution for allegedly violating an order of protection last year by mooning a neighbor with whom she had been feuding. Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice John Walsh dismissed the misdemeanor contempt of court charge against Brown after prosecutors revealed that her accuser Arlene Raymond refused to testify in the case.

She wanted this matter behind her. She wanted to drop the charges,” Assistant DA Robert Isdith said before asking the judge to drop the charges against the rapper. Brown had pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Raymond had said that Brown removed her panties when she mooned her. Brown, who was wearing a silver dress, heels and a Channel bag, said her accuser was simply jealous of her. “It’s a scary thing when someone want to be you and have your life,” she said.

Brown had been issued the order of protection after pleading guilty in 2008 to menacing Raymond with her cellphone. The two had been fighting after Brown blasted her car radio outside their Prospect Heights building.
