Get Visualized: “Watch The Throne” Documentary

The more I read about Watch The Throne, the more I get excited about hearing and buying the actual album. This weekend, a mini-documentary about the making of Watch The Throne hit the net. The documentary shows some historical moments between Jay-Z and Kanye West including Ye giving Hova birthday gifts, having dinner with Beyoncé, and footage from studio sessions. Peep the video below:

An official release date for Watch the Throne, has been released and the album will hit stores next month. The digital version hits August 1, while the physical CD won’t hit stores until August 5. The disc will feature collaborations from Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, Otis Redding and Mr. Hudson. The deluxe edition has a collaboration with Curtis Mayfield. Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci designed the album’s intricate gold cover and artwork. The cover incorporates “symmetry, lightness, strength, darkness, sharpness and 3D,” Givenchy explains in a statement.

Photoshoot: Kelly Rowland Poses Nude For Her “Here I Am” Shoot

The talented Kelly Rowland will be releasing her new album Here I Am next Tuesday (July 26). In her photo shoot, Rowland posed nude and topless; showing her sexy chocolate complexion. In a recent interview with BET.com, Rowland spoke about being a #1 artist. “Number one feels like number one.  It feels wonderful. Especially for it to be on the charts so long. I think ‘Motivation’ opened up a different chapter for me. It really did.[…][The album] is along the same lines when it comes to an urban sound. When I listen to everything back to back, when I was sequencing it, that’s when it felt really good in my spirit,” says Rowland.

Drake Hates Singles & Names Three Tracks Off His Upcoming LP ‘Take Care’

Rapper Drake is home in Toronto, putting the finishing touches on his sophomore album Take Care (due October 24). Drizzy is recording at his longtime producer/friend Noah “40” Shebib’s studio. This will be the follow-up to Drizzy’s debut album Thank Me Later, which sold 1.4 million copies. Rollingstone got the chance to preview Drizzy’s upcoming album. Drake confirmed that “Shot For Me”, “Free Spirit” Ft. Rick Ross and “The Real Her” Ft. Lil Wayne will be featured on the album.

On not liking singles.

I hate singles,” Drake says. “With this album, I want to tell a whole story,” he adds. “I don’t want people to just hear a piece and judge the album on that.”

Drizzy names three tracks off his upcoming LP Take Care.

He cues up several tracks in various states of completion, all of which sit squarely in the sparse, somber register that’s become his trademark. “Shot for Me,” the likely album opener, is a marvel of melancholy bravado: He sings “Bitch, I’m the man” in a moan that undercuts the brag, over a beat (courtesy of Shebib) that pairs aching synthesizer notes with an exhilarating barrage of high-hats. Other highlights include “Free Spirit,” featuring Rick Ross and the refrain “Tat my name on you so I know it’s real,” and “The Real Her,” a narcotically woozy love song with detuned pianos and a Lil Wayne guest spot. Drake is also looking forward to collaborating with Abel Tesfaye, a.k.a. buzzy R&B gloomster the Weeknd — and, if he gets his wish, veteran beatsmith DJ Premier, Florence and the Machine’s Florence Welch, and the xx’s Jamie Smith. “No matter who’s on it, it goes through the Drake filter,” Shebib says. “He’s so hands-on about how everything sounds.”

Celeb Couple: 5 Pictures To Suggest That Lil Kim & Floyd Mayweather Are Dating

Over the past few weeks, rumors hit the net claiming that boxer Floyd Mayweather and rapper Lil Kim are dating. I am not too sure if those rumors are true or not but I did come across five pictures of Floyd and Kim hugged-up inside of nightclubs in Miami and Atlanta. Pictures of a male and a female hugged-up does not mean they’re an item. However these pictures does add some truth to the rumors.

Lil Kim was spotted at Floyd Mayweather training camp.
