Men Lie, Women Lie, Numbers Don’t: Drake’s Album ‘Take Care’ Projected To Move 725,000 In The First Week

According to Billboard, Toronto rapper Drake’s sophomore offering Take Care s will debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart next week. Industry sources suggest the set could sell as many as 725,000 copies by week’s end on Sunday, Nov. 20. His debut album Thank Me Later debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, selling over 447,000 copies in the first week and over one-million worldwide. Take Care may become the third-highest sales week of 2011, after Lady Gaga’s Born This Way debut (1.1 million) and Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV start (964,000). Take Care features collaborations with Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, André 3000, Rick Ross, and more.
