Look At Me Now: GQ Magazine Named Frank Ocean “Rookie Of The Year,” Plus He Announces Two NYC Shows

Singer-songwriter Frank Ocean is having a great year. He produced songs for Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Kanye West, graced the cover of Issue # 75 Fader  magazine. Now he has been named “Rookie of the Year” by GQ in the magazine’s annual “Men of the Year” issue. In the picture, Ocean is looking all dapper in a suit, in a black-and-white image. Below is what Ocean had to say about the success of his debut album, entitled Nostalgia, Ultra:

I got to grab my nuts and point my middle finger up,” said Ocean, who is currently gearing up for his first commercial album for release in 2012.

Ocean also took to his official Tumblr to announce that he will be playing two shows at The Bowery Ballroom in NYC on November 27 and November 28.
