As we all know, if the late great Biggie Smalls wasn’t Coogi downed to the socks, he was looking all dapper in Versace. In an interview done by Nicki Minaj for Interview Magazine’s December/January issue, successful fashion designer and Vice President Donatella Versace spoke on seeing Biggie at her shows and his love for the brand. Below are some excerpts:
On Biggie coming to her shows in Paris.
“I think Biggie was amazing. He came to my shows in Paris many times, and we’d see each other often,” said Versace. “I loved what he was doing and how he was giving people a way to know about Versace.”
On Biggie’s influence on the brand.
“I do think he was giving people a way to know about Versace–I do think a lot of people started to know about Versace because of him.”

Philly’s emcee Meek Mill is one of the hottest new rappers in the music industry. Before he signed with Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, he was linked to T.I. and his Grand Hustle imprint. In an interview with Billboard.com, T.I. Talked about signing Meek Mill. Below are some excerpts:
T.I. on Meek’s style.
“His style and his skills speak for themselves. On top of that, you can YouTube Meek Mill and you’ll see him holding his own in street battles, holding his own on the radio. I think the streets of Philly are behind him.”
T.I. on why the deal with Meek didn’t go through.
“After my two hiatuses I was put in a position where I couldn’t really make moves on Meek as quick as he may have wanted to,” T.I. told Billboard.com’s The Juice. “I never been one want to hold anyone back or to slow down the success of anybody. I’m the first to try to enhance what you have and if I can’t make it better than I shouldn’t be a part of it.”
T.I. continued by congratulating Meek for his success.
“I love what he’s done and I love the fact that what I felt he was able to do, people now see. The potential that I saw in him and the things that I thought he was capable of doing it’s been proven to be true.”

Socialite and female hustla Amber Rose is now on a promo tour promoting her upcoming pop album and new line of Smirnoff vodka. In the past, I reported that Amber Rose was working on an album and recorded a collaboration with her boyfriend Wiz Khalifa. Popular music site HipHopWired interviewed Rose, while on the red carpet for the Soul Train Music Awards. Rose talked about her pop album and Smirnoff ads. Below are some excerpts:
Amber Rose on her upcoming pop album.
“It’s pop, it’s gonna be popular. It’s house music, it’s gonna be fun, dance music,” said Rose.
“It’s just real, it’s everything that I feel that I’m putting into music.[…] I have a few people in mind but that’s gonna be a surprise.”
Amber Rose on her Smirnoff ads for the company’s ‘Fluffed Marshmallow’ and ‘Whipped Cream’ vodka flavors.
“I’m doing a campaign for fluffed marshmallow and whipped cream. The fluffed marshmallow is when you want to be a good girl or a good boy and the whipped is when you want to feel a little bad. And I’m both of those things, sometimes I’m a good girl and sometimes I’m a bad girl, I like them both.”
