According to reports, a lot of fashion critics has some positive things to say about Kanye West’s fashion line, this time around. The international music star and fashion designer debuted his Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection in Paris earlier today Tuesday (March 6). Models walked the runway in a total of 20 different looks which included leather, furs and biker jackets. Already critics of the show are saying that the second time around, Yeezy line is much better than his first tried. “This collection looks like he has had a lot of consultants working with him,” wrote the WSJ’s Christina Binkley. “But it’s way better than before.” The show was filled with celebrities such as Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian, Cassie, Alicia Keys, Anna Wintour, Big Sean, Teyana Taylor, Shyne, Common, Diddy, Rosario Dawson and Swizz Beatz.
Yeezy addressed his second foray into the world of womenswear. “I learned a lot from the last one,” he told The Wall Street Journal. “I’m learning every day. I’m a new designer. I’m taking baby steps.”
We The Best/Def Jam rapper Ace Hood was photo’d wearing a pair of Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Bones sneakers. Again, JS used his creative thinking to designer a pair of high-top basketball sneakers, which features a Flintstones inspired design via leopard pattern overlays and removable bone details across the laces. The shoe also features an all-leather base along with green and purple accents. Ace hood paired his sneakers with tan pants and a white tee shirt. Are you feeling the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Bones?

Over this past weekend, New York’s up & coming rapper Rich Ice of Icy Gang began filming the official visual to his single “Sloppy Toppy” Ft. Lil SNS. The track is featured on his latest mixtape, entitled Cold Heat 1.5, hosted by DJ V12. The visual was shot in the South Bronx and filmed by A-Star Films. This Spring/Summer 2012, Rich Ice will be embarking on a tour. Check out the behind the scenes footage and pictures below:
Singer and model Cassie decided to wear a purple fur coat, orange pants and a colorful Roberto Cavalli sequined blazer with nothing underneath at the launch event for her single “King of Hearts” in Paris during Fashion Week. Cassie sure was styling on them hoes. In my eyes, she is becoming one of the baddest chicks in the game. Diddy and Pierre Sarkozy, the son of French president Nicolas Sarkozy, mingled with the chic crowd as Cassie’s electro-dance single pumped from the speakers at L’Arc Club. It is also rumored that Kanye West has recorded a remix to “King of Hearts.” Today, Cassie is expected to attend Kanye West’s womenswear show. Peep the pictures below:
The champ is here! Def Jam rapper Jadakiss is in the studio working on a new mixtape. In a recent interview withXXLMag.com, Jada says he plans to release a brand new mixtape soon. The disc will feature all original material and have some guest appearances. An official title and release date has yet to be release. Jada is currently keeping busy by appearing on other artists projects.
“I just did something with John Legend,” he told XXLMag.com recently. “I’m on the new Busta album, I did something for Waka Flocka. A few more people, man.”
As of right now, fans can hear Jada featured on Diggy Simmons “88,” the latest release off of Diggy Simmons’ March 20th LP Unexpected Arrival. Jada says he’s surprised not just about how rugged the track was, but getting the call from the teen sensation to appear on his album to begin with.
“It’s a business at the end of the day,” Jada said. “You can do a collabo with anybody, just don’t compromise what you do. When Diggy passed the song, I was surprised because it had the sample from Jay-Z, ‘still spending money from 88.’ he was doing his thing. I have a little daughter that loves him. I have nieces, goddaughters that love him. Diggy is poppin’ right now. The song is hot, it doesn’t compromise what I do and I’m able to get in his audience, ‘let me get that.’ Plus the check was nice. The check was marvelous!” —
