After hearing various snippets and seeing previews on the set in Miami, New York’s rapper French Montana decided to drop his new single “Pop Dat” Ft. Rick Ross, Drake and Lil Wayne. The track serves as the official first single off his upcoming album and samples Uncle Luke and 2 Live crew’s “Pop That Pu$$y”. I’m sure this will be an anthem for the summer. The single will be available for purchase on iTunes June 12. A visual for the song was shot in Miami over the Memorial Day Weekend and will be premiering very soon. Montana’s debut album, entitled Excuse My French arrives July 17. Listen below:
This pink and red ombre-effect Balenciaga tee-shirt is an eye catcher. I like it because it is simple but upscale at the same time. I’m also into colors, so adding a pink and red ombre-effect to my summer collection would be more than dope. The panelled raglan sleeves and a contrasting red collar give it a smooth look, so I will wear it with a denim vest, blazer or sleeveless zipped hoodie. With this shirt, I will also wear some camo shorts or pant with the matching red Balenciaga Arena sneakers. This shirt is available for $295 over at Mr Porter Online Shop.
Last week Thursday (June 7), Rick Ross, French Montana, The Dream and Zola Jesus all performed at the vitamin Water and Fader ‘Uncapped Concert Series’ in Los Angeles at the Hollywood American Legion. During his performance, Rick Ross brought out R&B singer Omarion (the duo performed their new song “Let’s Talk”) and Bad Boy/Interscope recording artist French Montana. The Dream and indie singer Zola Jesus ripped the stage as well. Peep the pictures and watch the video below:
Over this past weekend, the talented Beyoncé was spotted arriving to Le Borget Airport in Paris to catch a flight to Dublin for her husband Jay-Z’s ‘Watch The Throne’ concert. Bey was spotted carrying her daughter who was wrapped up but somewhere in that blanket lies Baby Blue. During his set, he rocked a pair of Nike Air Foamposite-Metallic Silver-Crimson Black which is scheduled to drop this fall 2012. eBay already have them listed for $4,000. This shoe features a metallic silver upper, crimson vibrantly accenting the embroidered forefoot Swoosh, tongue, pull-tab, heel Swoosh border and translucent outsole. Wale wore a blue denim vest, jeans and white tee-shirt with his sneakers. Also in related Wale news, the D.C. native will be dropping his third solo album in December or early January.
Def Jam rapper 2 Chainz recently released the official visual to “Turn Up” Ft. Cap 1. The track is off his 2011’s mixtape T.R.U. REALigion. The Decatur Dan-directed visual was shot inside of Club Ritz in Atlanta. 2 Chainz gave a mini performance in the visual. His debut solo album, entitled Based On A T.R.U. Story arrives August 14. If you like getting a lot of attention when it comes to fashion, then these Patent Leather Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers are for you. This shoe features a red logo patch on the tongue, exposed zip closures at the shoe face sides and heel, padded collar, black rubber tone on tone stitching. Cop them over at SSENSE Online Store for $650. I wouldn’t wear these kicks in the summer. Maybe in the fall/winter and I will have to wear some ripped jeans and a Moncler vest/jacket with them. Dope or Nope?
