Spotted In Hollywood: Meagan Good Wearing Jeffrey Campbell Damsel Spiked Heels, Leopard Leggings & A Denim Vest

The newly wed Meagan Good was recently spotted arriving to BOA Steakhouse in Hollywood. She made sure paparazzi caught her flaunting her wedding ring. For the occasion, Megan looked cute in a pair of $244 Jeffrey Campbell Damsel Spike Gold Heels. She paired her heels with leopard leggings, a grey shirt and denim vest. In my opinion, Meagan’s outfit was pretty cool, casual and the perfect fit for dinner. Do you agree or disagree?

Don Bleek’s Recap: Odd Future And Raekwon Headlines Peter Rosenberg Birthday Bash At The Best Buy Theater

This past Thursday (July 26), I was on a NYC tour. Not only did I attend the ‘Coors Light and Ice Cube Search for the Coldest MC’ featuring DJ Drama and Fabolous at Irving Plaza, I also hit up New York’s Hot 97 morning show host, Peter Rosenberg’s star-studded birthday concert at the Best Buy Theater. I was on hand to capture the memorable moment. Some of Hip-Hop’s newcomers and legends got together for a sold out show.

‘Peter Rosenberg Presents: A Night of Real Hip-Hop’ featured performances by newcomers Nitty Scott, Smoke DZA and Asher Roth who was introduced by Action Bronson. Legendary rapper Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan, Odd Future and Earl Sweatshirt headlined this event which was produced by Adman Lublin and AEG Live for Peter Rosenberg and Hot 97.

As always, Raekwon shut down the building as he performed some of his classic records including “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Ice Cream” before making room for Odd Future, who closed out the show with a big bang.

Odd Future did not disappoint their screaming fans who waited in line for over an hour to see the Wolf Gang. They came to the stage deep, giving the people their money worth. OF performed tracks such as “Bitch Suck Dick”, “Rella”, “Yonkers” “Sam Is Dead”, and “Kill People, Burn Shit, Fuck School”. Odd Future also performed records off their The OF Tape Vol. 2Goblin and Bastard albums. Tyler, the Creator, Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt and Hodgy Beats put on a great show. They closed out their set with “Radical”.

This event was a night to remember. I’m sure the fans had a good time, as they blew smoke in the air, threw water bottles across the theater and jumped up and down.

Shining In France: Rihanna Wearing A Sparkling Pink Bikini On Her Yacht

Two weeks later and Rihanna is still enjoying her Mediterranean and French Riviera vacation. In the latest pics, Riri was shining on her yacht in a sparkling pink bikini covered in sequins. Riri deserves a break from music and touring. This is her first time taking a break since she emerged on the music scene back in 2005. Do we love her sparkling bikini?

Don Bleek’s Recap: Fabolous Take Over Irving Plaza For Coors Light & Ice Cube Search For The Coldest MC Competition

Coors Light and Ice Cube Search for the Coldest MC’ 2012 stopped at NYC’s Irving Plaza  this past Thursday (July 26), for its final search. Backed courtesy of Coors Light, hosted by DJ Drama with a dope performance by Fabolous, Coors Light and Ice Cube found 2012 ‘Coldest MC’. I was in the building for the wall-to-wall packed show.

Finalists from other cities including New York, Philly, Baltimore, New Orleans, Charlotte and Atlanta approached the main stage and showcased their talents for the rough crowd of New Yorkers. But before the show even begun, Ice Cube did a short question and answer interview for a small selected group of journalists and bloggers including myself.

After DJ Drama announced the finalists, South Central, Los Angeles-native and former NWA rapper Ice Cube rocked the stage. He performed some of his classics tracks such as “Natural Born Killaz” (without Dr. Dre), “Check Yourself” and “Today Was A Good Day”. Before exiting the stage, Ice Cube said, “New York n***a still got it”.

Followed by Ice Cube’s performance, he and DJ Drama came back to the stage to announce the ‘Coldest MC’ 2012 winner which was up & coming rapper Felony Fame.

Around 10:30, Fabolous came to the stage! He opened his hour-long set with “You Don’t Know Bout It”. Loso performed records from his long list of catalogue including “Deny It”, “Young’N (Holla Back)”, “So Into You”, “Let You Go”, and “Breathe”. He also performed some of his Soul Tape and TINC mixtapes series tracks and his verses to “Rack City” and “Say Ahh” remixes. During the middle of his set, Fab brought out Bad Boy recording artists Red Café for “I’m Ill” and French Montana for “Pop That”. Before leaving the stage, Montana announced that his debut album, Excuse My French arrives this November.
