Today Sunday (August 5), rapper Drake took to his OVO blog and posted a new track from singer Aaliyah called “Enough Said” Ft. Drake. This single was produced by Noah “40” Shebib and serves as the first track off Aaliyah’s upcoming album which is rumored to be executive-produced by Drake himself. Who gave Drake the approval to clear this sample or clearance to any of Aaliyah’s records? It is my opinion to say that Drake should had reached out to Timbaland and Missy to get them involved in this project. I think that would have been the proper way to handle this situation.
Back in April, Timbaland told New York’s Power 105 “Breakfast Club”, “If [Drake] do it, it should be with me and him and Missy. The best decision what the fans would want to see is all three of us. It can’t be something to make money off of ’cause I think it’s wrong to make money off the dead.”
