Vacations to Las Vegas tend to focus on the various things that make the town so famous: major performances, casino floors, nightlife, fine dining, and poolside attractions. However, there is also another popular aspect of Las Vegas that attracts visitors from all over the country. Put simply, it’s the shopping. Las Vegas’s glamorous resorts and gaudy destinations are home to some of the most impressive shopping districts and stores anywhere in the world. Here are a few to put on your list before your next trip to Vegas.
Grand Canal Shoppes
If you’re looking for a full, dynamic shopping experience that goes beyond the shops themselves, the Grand Canal “street” at the Venetian is the place for you. Designer brands abound, but it’s the atmosphere that makes this shopping center special. The décor is designed to simulate old world Europe, and a variety of small, random performances give it a street-like atmosphere. Additionally, the Grand Canal Shoppes are populated by restaurants run by celebrity chefs like Wolfgang Puck.
If you’re a fan of the simple but spectacular shopping atmosphere of Paris, you may enjoy the shops at Le Boulevard at the Paris Hotel. It’s not the largest shopping district in Las Vegas, but Le Boulevard has undeniable charm in imitating a Paris shopping atmosphere.
Crystals At Citycenter
Crystals at Citycenter outside the ARIA RESORT & CASINO (Las Vegas) arguably the most impressive collection of designer brands and high-end stores of any single shopping area in the United States. The area itself is a chic and modern pavilion, and within it are brands from Louis Vuitton, to Gucci, to Tiffany & Co., as well as fine dining options and incredible art galleries. This is as glamorous a shopping area as you’ll find.
If you’re looking for Las Vegas’s answer to New York’s 5th Avenue, the Miracle Mile is probably your answer. Essentially a bright, vibrant stretch of well over 150 stores, the Miracle Mile has a little bit of everything – from everyday shops like H&M or Urban Outfitters to high-end brands. You can also enjoy a broader experience while taking in the Miracle Mile, as comforts like fine dining and spas line the way.
If you’re looking for a simpler way to enjoy the best shopping brands and names, Via – the shops at the Bellagio Hotel – might be for you. The quality of the shopping experience is as high as anywhere else, but everything feels a bit quieter and simpler, which can be nice if you’re shopping with an eye toward buying, rather than toward the general experience.
