NBA player Iman Shumpert of the New York Knicks was photo’d getting his hair line-up at a local barber shop. The unique styling Guard/Forward rocked a $155 American Monroe Unisex Crewneck paired with cargo pants. I can’t stop staring at this Marilyn Monroe sweater, for some reason I want to buy it but I’m not. The sweater is hand-printed and made by Riche, an independent fashion brand on the rise. Shumpert added a pair of adidas KB8 II sneakers to complete his ensemble.
Shumpert was first-team all-state player at Oak Park and River Forest High School and was one of the top 30 seniors in the USA. He helped Oak Park and River Forest High School to three conference titles and was named conference MVP as a junior and senior. He was rated No. 15 among the nation’s senior players by Scout.com and No. 26 by Rivals.com. Shumpert was also selected to play in the 2008 McDonald’s All-American Game. In college, he played for Georgia Tech. He was GT’s fourth-leading scorer during the 2008-09 NCAA men’s basketball season. During the 2009-10 season, he was GT’s third leading scorer. He was also second in the ACC in steals. Shumpert opted for the 2011 NBA Draft and was drafted with the seventeenth overall pick by the New York Knicks.
