My IDOL Sits Courtside At His Arena For The Kentucky Vs Maryland Game

Last night Saturday (November 10), my idol (Jay-Z) & his childhood friend/Roc Apparel Group Executive Assistant Emory Jones were spotted sitting court side at Jay-Z’s arena (Barclays Center) for the Marquee Game of college basketball’s opening night. The Kentucky Wildcats defended the Maryland Terrapins 72-69. Jay-Z kept it casual in a denim shirt and jeans paired with Timberland boots.

Fashion Me Dope: Jay-Z’s Childhood Friend Emory Jones Rocking A ‘Dolo Clothing’ Shirt & New Balance 999 “South Beach”

Musically, the world was introduced to Jay-Z’s childhood friend Emory Jones on Jay’s song “Do U Wanna Ride?” off Kingdom Come. The two grew up together in Brooklyn’s Marcy Projects. Today, Emory is working as an executive assistant at Roc Apparel Group. Whenever, I am able to attend the New Jersey Nets game (I live about 15 minutes from the Prudential Center where the Nets play at), I sometimes see Emory and Jay-Z there, sitting court side. Emory is also the mind behind his South Beach flavored New Balance 999. “Jones and Pimp My Kicks came together to restart the South Beach theme, focusing on contrasting grey, black and aqua blue with pink laces and stitching as well as a touch of speckling on the midsole. This shoe is Part One of the PMK x Emory Jones Private Stock Collection,”-said CounterKicks. At the release/preview party Jones was rocking a Dolo Clothing tee-shirt with a pair of his New Balance 999 “South Beach”. Spotted In New Jerz: Jay-Z & His Childhood Friend Emory Jones Sitting Courtside At The Nets Game

Last night Wednesday (March 7), I attended the NJ Nets vs. L.A. Clippers game at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Part owner of the Nets/music mogul Jay-Z and his childhood friend Emory Jones sat court side to watch the game. The final score was 101-100, in favor of the Nets. Jay-Z was styling on them lames in a pair of Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers, denim jeans and a black tee-shirt.

If you guys are not familiar with Emory, he and Jay-Z are childhood friends. He was released from the Feds in 2010. This guy is a real street dude and he was also the person who put up the money to start Roc-A-Fella. Back in 2010, Jay-Z sent over his personal Maybach to pick up Emory from the Feds. On Jay-Z’s Kingdom Come album, he dedicated a song, entitled “Do You Wanna Ride” to Emory.

Spotted In New Jerz: Jay-Z & His Childhood Friend Emory Jones Sitting Courtside At The Nets Game

Last night Tuesday (December 27), Brooklyn’s rapper/music mogul Jay-Z and his childhood friend Emory Jones were spotted at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, to watch the New Jersey Nets vs. Atlanta Hawks game. I was there too! I was far from court side but I had an okay seat. I spotted Jay-Z but wasn’t able to get to him because we were sitting far apart. The final score was 106-70, in favor of the Hawks.
