Andrew Wiggins For ESPN The Magazine; Acknowledges That He’s Heading To The NBA Next Season


Andrew Wiggins is doing a good job branding himself! He’s getting a lot of press and there is a lot of buzz surrounding the 18-year-old Kansas Jayhawks college basketball player. Wiggins is also gracing the cover of sports and fashion magazines left-to-right. He already been featured in GQ and covered Sports Illustrated. Now the 6-foot-8, 200-pound versatile forward is covering the latest issue of ESPN The Magazine.

Inside, Wiggins acknowledges that he is heading to the NBA next season. When asked what he’s enjoyed most since he arrived at Kansas, Wiggins said, “I would say just being able to enjoy my last year of school“. Most likely, he will enter the 2014 NBA Draft, be considered the favorite and selected the top pick.

As far as his goals for this season, Wiggins want to win another championship, Win another championship, a national championship,” he said. “Follow in Anthony Bennett’s footsteps of going No. 1.”

So No. 1 is the plan, Wiggins was asked.

Yeah, if that’s possible if I can, yeah,” he said.

NBA Player Andre Iguodala For ESPN The Magazine; “Athletes Are Taking This Fashion Stuff Seriously”


NBA player Andre Iguodala of the Golden State Warriors is featured in the latest issue of ESPN The Magazine. He did a fashion shoot in the Bay Area for the sports publication. For the shoot, the Illinois-native was styled by Kesha McLeod of Thomas Faison and wore a series of looks and he also talked to writer Sam Alipour about his love for fashion, the impact that the 2005 implementation of the NBA dress code has had on players, future business aspirations and much more.
