As I’ve reported in numerous posts, rapper Pusha T will be dropping his EP Fear Of God: Let Us Pray on August 23 and his upcoming solo album will be out on Black Friday (November 4).
In an interview in New Orleans, with popular site AllHipHop.com, Pusha confirmed the release dates for both projects, listed the features for his EP and talked about getting in the studio with Kanye West for his upcoming solo album.
On his EP and the features.
“It’s street music at its finest,” says Pusha-T. The EP features collaborations with Kanye West, Diddy, Jeezy, 50 Cent, Pharrell, Tyler the Creator, Hodgy Beats and others.
On his solo album and working with Kanye West.
“I’ve been recording the album in sections,” Pusha-T told AllHipHop.com. “Now that [Kanye and Jay-Z’s upcoming album] Watch the Throne is over, me and Ye [Kanye West] are about to get into studio on that. We’re looking to drop it on Black Friday, like November.”
Pusha-T said the album is “lyrically driven” and he added, “The information is top secret, until it’s time to let the album loose.”
