On July 17th, Def Jam’s Hip-Hop legend Nas will be releasing his 10th album, entitled Life Is Good. Even though Nas has been in the game for over 20 years, he is still a little nervous about this record. “At this point when we’re mastering, I start to get a little nervous,” Nas told MTV News on June 12. “I start thinking about those records I could’ve, should’ve, would’ve done that didn’t make it.”
Producer Salaam Remi who worked with Nasty on the majority of the album compared Life Is Good to two classic albums. Remi told Nas that the upcoming album reminded him of Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black and the Fugees’ 1996 Grammy Award-winning LP The Score.
Wow! That’s a great comparison because Back To Black and The Score are two classic albums. Remi also produced on both discs. Life Is Good is definitely one of the most anticipated albums this summer.
