New Visual: Rick Ross “Hold Me Back”, Sampling Juvenile’s “Ha” Video

BET can’t stop the Bawse (Rick Ross)! If you haven’t heard, the network banned Rick Ross “Hold Me Back” visual but that didn’t stop me from uploading it. Rick Ross and his MMG crew (Wale, Stalley and Gunplay) recently took a trip to New Orleans to film the official visual for God Forgives, I Don’t’s third single “Hold Me Back”. In the Taj-directed visual, Ross samples Juvenile “Ha” video which appeared on his 1998′s LP, 400 Degreez. Juve shot his video in New Orleans’ Magnolia Housing Projects which is located Uptown (11th and 12th Wards). Ross filmed his visual in Calliope Projects also known as Calio Projects which is located in the 3 Ward. Swizz Beatz, Curren$y and Mia X made a cameo in visual. GFID arrives this Tuesday (July 31).

Fashion Me Dope: Three Pictures Of Rick Ross Wearing Adidas

Adidas was founded in 1948 by Adolf “Adi” Dassler and is a German sports apparel. Get your Adidas coupons here. For over the last three decades, the brand became very popular in the Hip-Hop community. I came across three pictures of Rick Ross wearing Adidas. The Miami native is in the studio working on his forthcoming LP, entitled God Forgives, I Don’t. The disc is scheduled to hit shelves this year. Super producers Dr. Dre and Timbaland will be producing/appearing on the album. In his video “MMG Untouchable,” Rozay declared himself the “Biggest Artist in the Game.” I respect Ross hustle and I like his music. Album Delayed: Def Jam Confirms Rick Ross’ ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’ Album Set Back

I previous reported that Rick Ross confirmed that the December 13 release date for his forthcoming LP, entitled God Forgive, I Don’t is subject to change because of  his health issues. “[Because of] my little health situation, I had to postpone a lot of my groundwork,” said Ross. “And I feel like that’s important for artists like myself.”

Yesterday Thursday (November 17), Island Def Jam Senior VP of Marketing Chris Atlas told Billboard that the label hopes to release the album “around first quarter, early second quarter” of 2012, with an official release date still to be determined.

I think we’re all aware of his recent health issue, and based on some of the minor setbacks with that, we weren’t able to confirm certain opportunities, because he physically wasn’t able to deal with certain things at the time,” says Atlas. “We want this to be his biggest album — we know it’s going to be his biggest album — so we did not want to pressure him into releasing an album based on the sake of a date.”

We Have To Wait A Little Longer: Rick Ross Plans To Push Back ‘God Forgives I Don’t’

Yesterday Wednesday (November 16), in an interview with MTV Rap Fix MMG rapper and CEO Rick Ross confirmed that the December 13 release date for his forthcoming LP, entitled God Forgive, I Don’t is subject to change because of  his health issues. “[Because of] my little health situation, I had to postpone a lot of my groundwork,” said Ross. “And I feel like that’s important for artists like myself.”

If I wanted to, I’m pretty sure I could still meet that date, but I think for the people, it’s more important [to lay groundwork] for when I get out there and look them in the face and touch them hands,” Ross said, explaining the likelihood of a delay. “We’ve just gotta lay ground for it, and I’mma keep y’all updated.”

Back in October,Ross premiered two new singles from the album, the Just Blaze-produced single “I Love My Bit**es” and “You the Boss” Ft. Nicki Minaj, both available on iTunes now.

As far as Ross vision for God Forgives, I Don’t, “My vision for this album is so clear, everything’s falling into place,” says Ross in an interview with RollingStone. While he has yet to confirm track-list details, Ross has been cranking hard on the album between tour dates with Lil Wayne. Says the rapper, “I’m excited to see the response to this album – I expect it to be bigger than my previous one.”
