Nice Belly Ring & Getting Wet: Esther Baxter Covers King’s Sept/Oct Issue

Video Vixen hall of famer/actress Esther Baxter is gracing the cover of the September/October issue of King magazine. In the cover story, Joe Budden’s ex discusses her controversial relationship with the Dirty Jerz emcee.

When asked if she knew about the Slaughterhouse rapper’s reputation of bedding a lot of models, Baxter replied. “With me, I had no idea who he was, what he did, or any of his music.” In fact the beauty said that she thought Swizz Beatz was responsible for arguably Budden’s biggest hit, “Pump it Up.”

I didn’t know anything about his past,” she added. “And I judged him by who he was and who he presented himself to me.”

The September/October issue is scheduled to hit newstands nationwide on July 17.

Amber Rose Covers KING, Plus Speaks On Kanye West & Wiz Khalifa

Socialite Amber Rose is gracing the cover of the July/August issue of KING magazine. In the cover story, Rose talked about the perception of herself, dealing with critics and being a former stripper. Also, Rose talked about her current relationship with Wiz Khalifa, and compare it to her last relationship with Kanye West. Below are some excerpts from Amber’s interview:

What do you think is the perception of Amber Rose?

I spoke to people, asking why do I constantly get ridiculed. Is it because I was a stripper?

Well that doesn’t help that perception much.

But they said, “No, people don’t care about that, it’s that they think that you’re with all these men, when you’re not.” I’m only taking that from certain people that I spoke to. Maybe it’s that too, or that I’m very comfortable with my body. I can be topless on Miami Beach, that doesn’t make me a whore. That’s an everyday thing on Miami Beach. It’s just such a big deal because I’m in the public eye.

If you’re cognizant of these things, why go from one public relationship into another one with Wiz Khalifa?

Let’s put it like this, I promised myself that I would never in my life ever again deal with a man in the music industry…ever

Picture Me Dope: Mashonda Covers KING Magazine

Singer/reality star Mashonda is covering the May/June issue of King magazine. In the cover story, Mashonda talked about the show “Love & Hip-Hop,” dating, groupies, the “loyalty” tattoo on her hand and much more. The May/June issue of King will be on newsstand March 29. Below are some excerpts from Mashonda’s interview:

KING: Can you explain the “Loyalty” tattoo on your hand?

MASHONDA: I got it a year after everything started going downhill. It’s a reminder to me that I have to be loyal to myself for once.

Elaborate, please.

I was so loyal to everyone, and I totally forgot about me. This is what it represents—it represents loyalty to self. Now I have to do things that I love to do, and I have to make myself happy, because I don’t really agree when people say, “I need a man ’cause I want to be happy,” or “I’m not happy because I don’t have a man.” That’s not where it starts. Happiness starts from within, and that’s in my focus.
