Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky caused a stir on the internet last week when he announced that his debut album, entitled LongLiveA$AP drops September 11. Fans have to wait a couple of weeks later because Rocky confirmed to The Source that he was “joking on the radio” when he made that announcement. I like A$AP Rocky a lot but things like this only proves that new artists lacks artist development and needs media training. In this interview, Rocky also talks about Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q being his favorite rappers, hooking up with Lana Del Ray, what people can expect from his upcoming documentary and much more.

Earlier this morning Thursday ( April 12), Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky took to his official Twitter account @Asvpxrocky and announced that he will soon be dropping his first official single from his debut LP. This Monday (April 16), the RCA recording artist will release “Goldie”, which will serve as the lead single off his debut album, entitled Long.Live.A$AP. The track was produced by Hit-Boy (“Ni**as in Paris”). Rocky is keeping busy these days. Last week he shot “Street Knocks” video with Swizz Beatz and was photo’d in the studio with Kanye West and DJ Khaled. Long.Live.A$AP is scheduled to hit stores and iTunes in July on Polo Grounds Music/RCA Records.
