Today’s (May 18), fashion killa of the day is Prince Ikey from Dirty Jerz. If he looks familiar it is because he was featured on an episode of MTV’s ‘My Super Sweet 16‘ and I also posted him on my blog here. I last saw Ikey a couple of months ago at the Gossip Game premiere screening in NYC. Ikey is an aspiring actor and wardrobe stylist. He is also gearing up to open his online clothing store this Summer 2013. Some of his favorite fashion brands are Balmain, Givenchy, Hermes, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Christian Louboutin, En Nior and Louis Vuitton. He also enjoys shopping at Barneys, Neiman Marcus, Zara, Atrium, H&M and Urban Outfitters. Ikey enlisted Tyga, A$AP Rocky and Fabolous as his fashion influences. Peep the pics below:

Most of you probably remember Isaac Canady (Prince Ikey) as Aaliyah’s younger cousin on an episode of MTV’s ‘My Super Sweet 16’. Now the 20-year-old New Jersey native is all grown up and branching off on his own. He has dreams of becoming a high-end celebrity wardrobe stylist and actor. If that is not enough, Prince Ikey had a meeting and pitched his own reality show to an executive (during the time of press we are not able to mention her name because nothing has been finalized as of yet). If picked up, the show will focus on Prince Ikey and his celebrity friends working on their careers as fashion stylists, producers, music artists and actors/actresses.
He is well-educated, driven, ambitious and talented! Prince Ikey is stepping into the fashion industry and is getting ready to open up his online store (TrueUrbanDesigns.Com), which is an innovative urban boutique that consists of one of a kind fashion pieces. Yes, each item that is sold on his online store is an one of a kind. The online store will feature custom designed jeans and shirts that are not available in stores. True Urban Designs is different from other urban fashion brands because it is rooted in the community, knows what the people wants/likes and shows satisfaction to its customers. It also dedicates itself to individuality and those individuals who have a keen eye for fashion. True Urban Designs team (Prince Ikey, Founder, Dondrae Huggins, Co-Founder & My’Keyra Alexander, Head Stylist) put together an online shop that fits all needs from different looks to the hottest trends. The best thing about True Urban Designs is that the pieces are affordable and looks like pieces that are seen on the runway during New York, Paris and Miami fashion week but at the same time, are pieces that people in the urban community wears.
Stay tuned to YDBR for True Urban Designs official grand-opening date!
