Passion For Fashion: Jay-Z Spotted Wearing A Givenchy Tee-Shirt In The Studio With Raekwon

jayrae

Last night, Tuesday (May 14), my official Twitter @donbleek88 and Facebook accounts were flooded with questions when I uploaded the above picture via Lenny S of Jay-Z and Raekwon in the studio together. It been a long time coming but the two New York emcees are finally in the lab together working on some new material. These two guys in the studio together remind me of that early 90’s New York Hip-Hop era. While in the studio, Jay-Z kept it casual in a Givenchy tee-shirt which is currently sold out. The shirt features leather sleeves and the brand’s signature white stars on the front panel.

Since I was not able to find the exact shirt that Jay-Z had on, I found a similar one below. This $615 Givenchy Star-Embellished Printed Cotton Tee-Shirt features five stars on the upper front, dark grey front panel, the number 4 on the arms. It’s available at Mr Porter.

Celebs Style: Chris Brown, Just Blaze & Raekwon Wearing A 1992 Vintage Polo Ralph Lauren Snow Beach Jacket

Back in June, I posted some pictures of singer Chris Brown performing on the Today Show in NYC. During his set, Breezy rocked a Vintage Polo Ralph Lauren Snow Beach Jacket which is from the 1992 Stadium Jersey Collection and features “Snow Beach” written on the front, patches on the left sleeve, and red elbow patches. The last time that I’ve checked, this jacket was going for $2,000 on www.ebay.comBreezy paired his jacket with black jeans, a white tee-shirt and Air Jordan sneakers.

Music producer and DJ Just Blaze recently instagrammed a picture of himself wearing the same exact jacket as Breezy (Polo Ralph Lauren Snow Beach Jacket which is from the 1992 Stadium Jersey Collection). Outside of music and making dope beats, Just Blaze has always been known for his fly Polo gear.

Since I am in a good move and it is a chilly cold snowy day in New Jersey and NYC, I’ve decided to include legendary Wu Tang Clan’s rapper Raekwon in this post. Back in the early 90’s Rae was photo’d with his rap comrades and he was also wearing this Polo Ralph Lauren Snow Beach Jacket which is from the 1992 Stadium Jersey Collection. Peep below:

Don Bleek’s Recap: Odd Future And Raekwon Headlines Peter Rosenberg Birthday Bash At The Best Buy Theater

This past Thursday (July 26), I was on a NYC tour. Not only did I attend the ‘Coors Light and Ice Cube Search for the Coldest MC’ featuring DJ Drama and Fabolous at Irving Plaza, I also hit up New York’s Hot 97 morning show host, Peter Rosenberg’s star-studded birthday concert at the Best Buy Theater. I was on hand to capture the memorable moment. Some of Hip-Hop’s newcomers and legends got together for a sold out show.

‘Peter Rosenberg Presents: A Night of Real Hip-Hop’ featured performances by newcomers Nitty Scott, Smoke DZA and Asher Roth who was introduced by Action Bronson. Legendary rapper Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan, Odd Future and Earl Sweatshirt headlined this event which was produced by Adman Lublin and AEG Live for Peter Rosenberg and Hot 97.

As always, Raekwon shut down the building as he performed some of his classic records including “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Ice Cream” before making room for Odd Future, who closed out the show with a big bang.

Odd Future did not disappoint their screaming fans who waited in line for over an hour to see the Wolf Gang. They came to the stage deep, giving the people their money worth. OF performed tracks such as “Bitch Suck Dick”, “Rella”, “Yonkers” “Sam Is Dead”, and “Kill People, Burn Shit, Fuck School”. Odd Future also performed records off their The OF Tape Vol. 2Goblin and Bastard albums. Tyler, the Creator, Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt and Hodgy Beats put on a great show. They closed out their set with “Radical”.

This event was a night to remember. I’m sure the fans had a good time, as they blew smoke in the air, threw water bottles across the theater and jumped up and down.

Dollah Tha Rapper Records Two Drops/Interviews Backstage At The Raekwon Concert At BB King Blues In NYC

Last night Sunday (April 18) my protegé Dollah Tha Rapper recorded two drops/interviews backstage at the Raekwon concert at BB King Blues in New York City. He recorded drops/interviews for Cac-TV.Com and Street Knowledge TV. Last night was a night to remember. Backstage was a zoo, paparazzi were everywhere. The cameras were flicking, the bottles were popped and the sour was blowing. This was an old skool type event. Ice -T, Keith Murry, CNN (Capone-N-Nore), Grand Daady IU, Craig G,and Crazy Legs were there as well. Once I get all the footage and photos, I will post it. Also, the DJ was on point. When he started playing the classic 80’s and 90’s Biggie, Big L, Slick Rick, Naughty By Nature and Kid-N-Play records, everybody left backstage and went to the main floor. We were jamming!

Dollah Tha rapper is the first and only artist signed to YoDonBleekRaps Management. I am representing Dollah Tha Rapper in all fields of entertainment; including branding, marketing, licensing and endorsement. Dollah is in the studio recording tracks for his debut mixtape Billion Dollah Rapper (subject to change). As of press, a released date for his mixtape has not been set. Dollah and I are focusing on putting out singles and a few videos before we drop his actual mixtape. Dollah is in the studio creating a masterpiece. Once he feel like he’s giving his fans his best work; he will put out his mixtape.

Ghostface And Special Guest Sheek Louch Brings out Raekwon Style P & Brand Nubian At BB King Blues In NYC

Please check the four side banner ads on the right and take advantage of the exclusive offers.

Over the weekend, Hip-Hop Legend Ghostface Killah of the Wu Tang Clan, with opening act, D-Block/Def Jam new signee Sheek Louch played B.B. Kings in Manhattan.

Friday (September 22) was a night to remember; Ghostface Killah and Sheek Louch brought old skool and classic Hip-Hop back to the city. Before the crowd threw up their W’s, which symbolize Wu Tang Clan, 1/3 of the Lox Sheek Louch took the stage. He opened up the show performing some of his classic records and surprised the wall-to-wall jam-packed crowd by bringing out his rhyme spitter partner Style P. The duo ran through a couple of tracks including “Wildout” and “Money Power & Respect” before Sheek closed his set with “All 20 Of Them,” a dope track for the ladies.

New York is defiantly “the city that never sleep” because the screaming fans waited until a little after 2:00am for Ghostface to take the stage. He ran onto the stage keeping it very Hip-Hop and reppin New York by wearing a blue Yankee fitted cap. He opened his set with “Run” and “Nutmeg.” I mean, the crowd went crazy, started throwing up their W’s and screamed “Wu Tang Wu Tang” when Ghostface burst onto the stage. Ghostface also ran through some of his classic tracks such as “Ice Cream” and “Be easy.” Peep the video below.

New Music: Justin Bieber “Runaway Love” Ft Raekwon & Kanye West

This new Jusitn Bieber record featuring Raekwon and Kanye West isn’t nothing to f**k with. This record goes hard.

JB has crossed over to the urban market and now has street credit after releasing the remix to “Runaway Love,” featuring legendary Wu Tang Clan rapper Raekwon and Def Jam rapper Kanye West, who also produced the track. The song features a sample of Wu-Tang Clan song “Wu Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing ta F**k Wit.”

In the beginning of the song, Rae shouted out JB and Ye before rapping his verse.  “It’s obvious, I want to see who your mommy is.”-Raekwon

Kanye West paid homage to Wu Tang Clan and gave JB credit on his verse. “Nobody rocking like this at 16 years old, I’m telling what Wu-Tang taught me.”Kanye West

What do you guys think about the record, are you feeling the song?
