Celebs Style: Rappers Wearing A “H” Hermes Belt [WHO ROCKED IT BEST?]

Hermes “H” buckle belts are sold as two separate pieces with the reversible leather strap priced at $590 and the silver or gold-plated “H” buckle priced at $665. When you purchase the buckle you must buy the strap too. If you just want the strap, it is possible to purchase it without the buckle but you cannot just purchase the buckle.

Back in the spring, Fabolous twitpic’d a photo of himself wearing a silver-plated “H” Hermes belt. Loso was also wearing  Notorious B.I.G. tee-shirt and a Black Apple “Broadway” jacket.

Rapper Drake performed at “The 2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors” for a celebration of “The Dirty South.” Drizzy was wearing a gold-plated “H” Hermes black strap belt. Drizzy was also rocking a “Free Lil Wayne” tee-shirt with a pair of gold pants.

Hell Up In Harlem: Vado Releasing ‘Slime Flu 2’ Mixtape, Working On Debut Album

Over the past few years, New York’s rapper Vado have been making a name for himself as he made a transition from an underground rapper to a mainstream emcee. Cam’ron’s protegé is busy at work, dropping  mixtapes that he hopes builds a bigger buzz before the release of his debut solo album.

The Harlem native told XXL that he submitted his Slime Flu 2 mixtape to DJ Drama last week and is expecting it to be released early next month.

We were thinking about Halloween [for the release], but that would be too close for Drama, so right now he’s hosting it and he’s going to give me a date,” Vado told XXL on Friday. “I’m thinking about putting out a mixtape every month, keep em going every month until the album.”

Vado says he expects his solo debut album to drop “first or second quarter” of next year, after he’s built enough mixtape buzz with Slime Flu 2 and Boss of All Bosses 3, a collaboration effort with Cam’ron that V12 says is all done and ready to hit the streets when Killer Cam gives it a date.

Last week, Vado’s new single “Okay Y’all,” Ft. Fabolous, off Slime Flu 2 leaked on the interweb last week.

I can’t wait to put out this mixtape,” Vado said, “to show people I’m the future.”

Harlem’s Dipset Shuts Down The City, With Concert In Times Squares

Over this past weekend, I attended the Harlem Diplomats (Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey), with special guests Vado and ASAP Rock concert at the Best Buy Theatre in Times Square, for the last show of Red Bull Music Academy’s Five Out Of Five tour of New York City’s five boroughs. The Harlem natives, who performed with a live band, opened-up the show a little after 9pm. Performing “What’s Really Good” and other tracks off their 2003’s certified gold album “Diplomatic Immunity.” They rocked the stage for a jammed pack wall-to-wall crowd for almost two hours.

After Dipset performed as a group, they all did their solo sets. Jim Jones kicked off his solo set, by performing some of his hits such as “Certified Gangsta,” “Baby Girl” “G’s Up,” and “Harlem.” During the middle of his set, Jones kept it all the way Harlem, by bringing out up & coming rapper ASAP Rocky, who performed his hit “Peso.” Jones closed his set with “Perfect Day.”

After Jones exited the stage, Juelz Santana opened-up his set by performing some of his biggest hits including “Shotta,” “Oh Yes,” “Mic Check,” “Back To The Crib,” “There It Go (The Whistle Song)” and “Clock Work.” Santana closed out his set with “Beamer, Benz or Bentley” (minus Lloyd Banks).

Cam’ron picked up where Juelz Santana left off. Cam kicked off his solo set by running through some of his hits such as “Down and Out,” “Wet Wipes,” and “I Used To Get It in Ohio.” During the middle of his set, Cam brought out fellow U.N. member Vado. The duo performed “Speakin In Tongues,” “We All Up In Here” and “Hey Muma.” The Harlem Diplomats all came back to the stage for one final performance with all of them together, before ending the show. The Harlemites closed out the show with “Salute” and “848.” Diplomatics  Immunity 3, coming soon.
