Friends Or Frienemies? Beyonce & Kim Kardashian Photo’d Together In Birmingham

To be honest, I never foreseen this coming but somehow a fan snapped pictures of Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian together at Jay-Z and Kanye West’s ‘Watch The Throne’ tour in Birmingham, UK. They were in V.I.P. together. If you look closely at the pics, it looks like Beyoncé was trying to hide when she saw the cameras. I don’t think Beyoncé really wanted to take any pics with Kim. So, are they friends or frienemies? Back in April, it was reported that Bey banned Kim from her inner circle. Do you think that they’re friends or frienemies and should they be friends, why or why not?

History In The Making: Jay-Z & Kanye West’s ‘Watch the Throne’ Breaks U.S. iTunes Record

The Throne (Jay-Z & Kanye West) made history last week. Their highly anticipated collaborative LP Watch The Throne broke the U.S. iTunes Store’s one-week sales record last week when it sold 288,000 downloads through Sunday night (Aug. 14). The album is now available at select retailers.

According to Billboard, “Watch the Throne” surpasses the previous one-week iTunes record, set when Coldplay‘s 2008 album “Viva La Vida Or Death and All His Friends” shifted 282,000 in its first week. (The album sold 288,000 total downloads in its first week, including sales from all other retailers.)

“Watch the Throne’s” overall official first-week sales — digital and physical combined — will be released by Nielsen SoundScan on Wednesday morning. Currently, it’s looking to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with around the 410,000-450,000. That’s a downgrade from the 500,000-start that some industry pundits had predicted.

The Early Predictions Are In: ‘Watch The Throne’ Is Projected To Sell Between 400-500,000 In The First Week

According to Billboard.com, Jay-Z and Kanye West’s collaborative LP Watch The Throne is projected to sell between 400,000-500,000 copies in the first week. That would instantly become the second-largest sales week of the year, behind Lady Gaga’s 1.1 million opener for Born This Way. The album was released today August 8 exclusively through Apple’s iTunes Store.

The projected first week sells are great for an album without a video and little promotions. Jay-Z is my idol and favorite rapper. What he did for Hip-Hop is unbelievable. Kanye is a genius and one of the best lyricists in the game. I heard the album in its entirety and in my opinion it’s the greatest album I’ve heard since Jay-Z Hard Knock Life.
