The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete is now airing in theaters and to coincide with the film, Alicia Keys (the film’s producer) released a new track entitled, “Better You, Better Me“. Listen to the uplifting track below:

Do you see what I see? Is that a baby bump? Sure is! Over this past weekend, R&B/Pop singer Alicia Keys previewed her ‘FW Reebok Classic‘ collection at a Reebok ‘Live With Fire‘ event in NYC. For the occasion, Keys wore a Givenchy Printed Button Front Blouse layered under a contrast blazer paired with black pants and Reebok sneakers. Buy this blouse at Barneys for $1,780.

Celebs Out & About: A$AP Rocky, Alicia Keys, Meek Mill & Ciara Spotted At Various Events

A$AP Rocky and Alicia Keys were photo’d on the set of Key’s new video, “Brand New Me (Part 2)”. The track is featured on Key’s platinum selling album, Girl On Fire. Swizz Beatz and Jada Pinkett-Smith will also appear in the video. On part 2, Keys switches up the lyrics and samples Crystal Waters’ “Gypsy Woman”.

Meek Mill ran into Ciara out in Los Angeles while doing some press for the Grammy Awards. The show airs tomorrow Sunday (February 10) at 8pm on CBS. Hip-Hop legend LL Cool J is hosting the show.

Beyonce & Alicia Keys Thuggin In A Hat

We’re still talking about Beyoncé’s over the top SuperBowl performance. She set the blogs, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook on fire. Now that’s power! Queen Bey Instagram’d a picture of herself wearing a $35 B-Side by Wale Bobble Hat which features stripe detailing and a pom pom on the top. Yesterday, Bey announced her  ‘The Mrs. Carter  Show World Tour’ which kicks off April 15th at the Kombank Arena in Belgrade, Serbri and will wrap up at her husband’s Barclays Center in Brooklyn on August 3rd.

Alicia Keys was photo’d inside of the studio and she kept it casual in a $150 Paislee Yee Dollar Pound gold logo cap. Keys is working on her upcoming film, The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister & Pete. She also executive produced this film which tells the story of two inner-city kids who are forced to fend for themselves over the summer after their mothers are taken away by authorities. In the film, J. Hud stars as a character with a heroin addiction. Jordan Sparks, Anthony Mackie and Skylan Brooks also star in the movie.

For her televised appearance, the “Girl On Fire” singer styled in a bright yellow spring look from Marc Jacobs 2013 Resort Collection. Alicia Keys Wears $930 Pair Of Giuseppe Zanotti Wedge Sneakers

Yesterday, Wednesday (December 19), platinum selling singer Alicia Keys was photo’d walking in the Soho section on Manhattan. She wore a black leather motorcycle jacket, shirt and skinny jeans. She paired her outfit with $93o Giuseppe Zanotti Wedge Sneakers which feature a mental plaque at the heel, a lace closure and gold tone zip detailing. A. Keys accessorized her outfit with a cream scarf wrapped around her neck and she also carried a black bag and wore dark color sunglasses.

Successful actress Taraji P. Henson made her way to NYC for the screening of Killing Them Softly. Swizz Beatz’s Ex-Wife MaShonda Calls Out Alicia Keys For Adding Insult To Injury

Last week, I posted Alicia Key’s Jet Magazine cover along with some excerpts from her interview, where she spoke about the pre-marriage drama leading up to her highly publicized relationship with Swizz Beatz. In the interview, Alicia Keys said that she and Swizz Beatz did not get together until after he separated from his ex-wife MaShonda. The Harlem native defended her marriage to the music producer. “…[They] were apart for some time before we ever got together…that doesn’t matter to those who take pleasure in trying to knock others down…there’s no need to fight what’s not true,” said Alicia Keys.

Apparently, I was wrong when I thought that this chapter in Alicia and Swizz’s lives was closed. Just before the holidays when everybody should be spending quality time with their family, Alicia, Swizz and MaShonda are making headline in the blogosphere world. There are always two sides to every story and sometimes three. With that being said, MaShonda is giving her side again. She spoke to Global Grind to set the record straight.

On her initial reaction when she read Alicia’s JET Magazine interview: 

Not much surprises me anymore when it comes to this situation. I truly thought that everyone’s priority was the well-being of the children involved. I don’t see the sense in throwing oil on a fire, it just takes us back to point A. The Jet interview just added insult to injury. I can’t figure out how this makes us better. How is it a positive, humanitarian gesture? But artists must protect their reputation and I get that.

On if she felt like Alicia Keys’ JET Interview was an indirect stab at her open letter:

There have been many stabs and shots taken, thankfully they don’t bother me the way they used to. I’ve never lied about one thing involving the demise of my marriage. No, we were not “apart” or separated, and that’s just a fact that can be proven in many ways. Blessings have a way of disguising themselves. This situation has helped me to understand life and what really matters.

On if she will be comfortable to sit down with Alicia and Swizz to clear the air:

They are normal people who have been blessed with talents and great opportunities. Being a star in my eyes isn’t solely about your success in the business, it’s about your success in your personal life, the success of your soul. I’m always ready and willing to sit with the co-parents of my son, that’s not even a question. There isn’t one doubt in my mind that one day it will all come together the way it’s supposed to. We are all a work in progress.

Alicia Keys Covers Jet Magazine; Talks Her Relationship With Swizz Beatz

Singer Alicia Keys who has an album, Girl On Fire dropping on November 27 is covering the latest issue of Jet magazine. Inside Alicia gives an in-depth and honest interview about the pre-marriage drama leading up to her highly publicized relationship with Swizz Beatz. Below are some highlights:

On Swizz Beatz and his ex-wife MaShonda being separated before they got together:

“…[They] were apart for some time before we ever got together…that doesn’t matter to those who take pleasure in trying to knock others down…there’s no need to fight what’s not true…“

On her relationship with Swizz Beatz:

“I’d never met a person where I could be fully myself…Swizz and I live in each other’s shadow. So we can occupy the same space and there is nothing but equality. There’s something really powerful about that.”

This issue hits newsstand this Monday (November 19). Alicia will be performing at NYC’s MSG on 12-12-12 for Sandy Relief Concert. In related Alicia and Swizz news, Huffington Post recently named the twosome one of their ‘Power Couples Of The Year’.

Alicia Keys x Reebok Sneaker Dropping At Retail Today

Reebok Classics and Alicia Keys formally announced their design partnership for the ongoing Alicia Keys x Reebok collection in early September 2012. Alicia was featured in a global TV campaign that premiered during the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards for her signature limited edition sneaker collection for Reebok Classics. Today marks the launch of her second collection with Reebok. Entitled the Cargo Collection and the Reptile Collection, both groups feature some of Reebok’s iconic women’s sneaker styles, including the Double Bubble, Freestyle Hi (aka the “5411”), Princess and Classic Nylon Slim styles. For this particular collection, Alicia took inspiration from utilitarian and military trends. The shoes have khaki colored suede uppers with hits of orange piping, interchangeable black and orange laces, along with a graphic camouflage lining.
