Celebs Are Moving Away From The Color-Block Trend & Wearing Black & White Ensemble This Spring 2013 Season

Reality star/shoetique owner Evelyn Lozada and her daughter Shaniece are covering the latest issue of Rolling Out magazine. For the Spring 2o13 season, celebs are moving away from the color-blocked trend and dressing in a simple black & white ensemble. Personally, I am all for color-blocked, but lately, I caught myself wearing more black & white than usually. A pair of white sneakers or pumps/sandals is always good to have in the Spring, especially after Memorial Day. Black & white looks good for just about any occasion. Below are a few celebs dressed in black & white. Who outfit do you like the best?

Reality star and author Tashera Simmons (ex-wife of rapper DMX) attended talk show host, Wendy Williams, Ask Wendy book launch at New York City’s Pink Elephant. For the event, Simmons wore a white blouse, black leather pants and Christian Louboutin pointy pumps which are currently on sale for $349 at Far Fetch.

A couple of weeks ago, I posted pics of Lala Anthony in NYC, she was spotted walking up the street showing off her new and improved body in a black crop top, white jeans and an Oak Cotton-Twill & Leather Varsity Jacket which is on sale for $480 at Net-A-Porter. Lala’s outfit was accessorized with a Hermes Birkin bag. This jacket feature silver leather sleeves, ribbed-knit cuffs and trims, side slit pockets and overlapping placket.

Last month, Yandy Smith attended the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta ‘Season 2′ premiere screening and press reception at New York City’s Stage 48. This Harlem fly chic stepped out looking gorgeous! Givenchy Sneakers Is The Hottest Trend This Season

Music mogul Swizz Beatz and rapper A$AP Rocky were photo’d together at the posh NY restaurant and supper club Son Cubano. Swizzy wore a grey sweater paired with khaki pants. His sneakers of choice were Givenchy Green Paisley Print Hightop which is available at SSENSE for $630. Eve’s ‘Lip Lock’ Listening Party At Monika Chiang’s In NYC

After an 11-year hiatus, Philly’s femcee year is back with a new album, entitled Lip Lock. The project serves as Eve’s first official LP since 2002’s Eve-Olution which peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 720,000 copies to date. This past Thursday (May 9), Ruff Ryders’ first lady held an album listening party for her new project at Monika Chiang’s boutique in NYC. MaShonda, Estelle, Melanie Fiona, Jamie Chung and Melissa George were also in attendance. For the occasion, Eve styled in a black leather zip dress accessorized with a textured Monika Chiang’s clutch and a pair of red Zima D’ Orsay pumps.
