During NYFW, fashion brand DKNY celebrated its 25th anniversary with model Chanel Iman and her rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky, model Jessica White media personality Rocsi Diaz, celebrity stylist June Ambrose and rapper Iggy Azalea at 23 Wall Street in Manhattan. Melanie Fiona, Emmy Rossum, Joan Smalls, Jay Manuel, Rita Ora and Donna Karan herself were also in attendance. Iggy, Rita and A$AP performed at the star-studded event. From the looks of it, everybody had fun, even smashing cake in each other faces. The giant cake was shaped in a yellow taxi cab. NYFW: Dominic Lord Attend The Tim Coppens SS14 Presentation As Well As The Open Ceremony Show

Dominic Lord made a special celebrity appearance at CFDA/Vogue’s Fashion Fund Finalist Tim Coppens’ SS14 show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week which was held at Milk Studios in NYC. He was spotted in the Lexus lounge before the show. For the main event, the stylish Harlem fashion designer and rapper rocked a black & white striped Tim Coppens sweater with black jeans and studded Alejandro Ingelmo sneakers.

In the photos below, Dominic was seen at the Open Ceremony show at SuperPier 25 during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. There were more than 1,000 guests at the international retailer first runway show including Rihanna, J.R. Smith and Justin Bieber. The show was designed by the owners Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. For the presentation, Dominic wore a shirt by Oak and pants by Public School. He has been getting major buzz around has avant-garde fashion sense as his career was launched in fashion. The critical acclaimed recording artist is also in the studio putting the finishing touches on his new project Overworld. Expect an official release date and some new music soon.

Ciara Continues Her NYFW Rounds

Ciara continues to appear at various NYFW festivities. Yesterday, Monday (September 9), Cici was photo’d in a Bernhard Willhelm Dress from the brand’s Fall 2013 collection paired with $2,645 Christian Louboutin Monicarina Thigh High Leather Boots. Honestly, I like this look. Her orange lipstick matches the orange in her dress. Cici’s boots are available at Saks and Neiman Marcus.

In the pics below, Cici changed from her dress and slipped into a KYE Men’s Tank and Jullian Davis skirt paired with the same Christian Louboutin boots.

NYFW: NBA Player J.R. Smith Attend The Opening Ceremony Show

New York Knicks baller J.R. Smith appeared at the Open Ceremony show at SuperPier 25 during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. For the international retailer first runway show, designed by the owners Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, Smith sported a $462 Givenchy Double Madonna-Print Sweatshirt. There were more than 1,000 guests at this show including Rihanna, Dominic Lord and Justin Bieber.

This Givenchy sweater features a Grayscale graphic print on the front. You can purchase it at Matches Fashion or Barneys.

NYFW: Justin Bieber, Iman Shumpert & John Wall Attends The Y-3 Spring/Summer 2014 Runway Show

Celebs are still flocking Lincoln Center for NYFW. YDBR latest celeb sighting is teen pop sensation Justin Bieber. The “Boyfriend” singer alongside NBA players Iman Shumpert and John Wall sat front row at the Y-3 Spring/Summer 2014 runway show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week yesterday Sunday (September 8). Bieber returned back to his iconic hairstyle. For the presentation, Bieber wore a black Y-3 V-neck tee-shirt with a translucent material on the collar, black leather pants and white Yves Saint Laurent Court Classic High-Top sneakers. After the show, Bieber headed backstage and met with the 69-year-old high fashion aficionado (Yohji Yamamoto).

Iman Shumpert styled a white top and trousers paired with Y-3 sneakers while John Wall opted for a black ensemble styled with black Y-3 sneakers.

Naomi Campbell Walked At The DVF Show; Joined Iman & Bethann Hardison In Calling Out Designers For Racism

International supermodel Naomi Campbell is still killing the game! All eyes were on her during the Diane von Furstenberg show at The Theatre at Lincoln Center this past Sunday (September 8). Campbell closed out the show with a bang! She werk the runway!

Campbell also joined supermodel Iman and activist Bethann Hardison in calling out some the top fashion designers in the nation for the a lack of diversity on the runway. During a recent taping of GMA, Campbell was joined by supermodel Iman and activist Bethann Hardison and they called out Donna Karan, Calvin Klein and Armani for using “one or no models of color” in their fall shows.  And they’re calling it a “racist act.”

“I don’t like it, and I say it. “I say, ‘Where’s the others?’ I’m very outspoken, as we know. The statistics, it’s really shocking. Heartbreaking. Your body and beauty, it doesn’t matter what color you are. If you’ve got the right talent, you should be there having the opportunity to do the job,” Campbell told ABC News. 

“There were more black models working then than it is happening in 2013. There is a time when silence is not acceptable at all. And if the conversation cannot be had publicly in our industry, then inherently there is something wrong with the industry, said Iman”

“I think they’re ignorant and they’re arrogant, and I think it’s not even about racism. I think it’s a sense of laziness and they’ve told themselves a story,”  said Hardison.

On the positive side, Diane von Furstenberg and Tom Ford were praised. “He has diversity because he sees the beauty in diversity,” Iman said about Tom Ford.

“This is such a dope cover! D. Rose is my second favorite NBA player (Carmelo Anthony is my favorite). I honestly want to see D. Rose win a championship because he deserves it. I just think that Rose needs more help because he is not able to increase his teammate’s level of play like LeBron James and Rajon Rondo. The Bulls needs another power player,” said Don Bleek.

NYFW: Angela Simmons Attend Various Shows In Style

Angela Simmons is making her rounds at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. For the Charlotte Ronson Spring 2014 show, she styled in a snakeskin jacket layered over a white button down shirt, and a black leather skirt. She also added a black baseball cap and red pumps to her ensemble.

For the Vivenne Tam Spring 2014 show at The Stage at the Lincoln Center, Angela wore an ensemble that was made for the runway. She rocked a red & black varsity jacket, black dress and $500 Olcay Gulsen Ankle Strap Pumps. For beauty, Angela added a little make-up, lipstick and eyeliner. She looked fabulous!
