Is Rick Ross The Biggie Of The South?

In my opinion, Rick Ross is becoming one of the best rappers to ever come out of Miami. What he’s doing for Hip-Hop is unbelievable. Over the years, he proved that rappers from the South are lyrical emcee’s. He sold gold and platinum albums, tour around the world, sold out arenas across the country, has been featured in some of the most respected music publications and collaborated with some of the greatest rappers; such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Mobb Deep. Also, Ross recently launched his own record label, titled Maybach Music Group.

In my opinion, Christopher Wallace a.k.a. The Notorious B.I.G. was more than just a rapper, he’s considered by many to be one of the greatest MC’s to ever pick up a mic or spit a 16. Most MC’s who came out in the 90′s and beyond owe respect to the “Player President.” He lived Notorious and was the Black Frank White. How can we ever forget about “Big Poppa” with classics like “Juicy” and “Who Shot Ya? He was a black male Stereotyped and misunderstood, but no matter what; he always rep his Brooklyn hood.

Do you guys think Rick Ross “is the Biggie of the South?”

New Music: Rick Ross Ft. Meek Mill & Swizz Beatz “Reebok Back”

Reebok back, Reebok back, that’s all they really screaming is that Reebok back. Super producer Swizz Beatz is a designer for Reebok. He designed the “Kamikaze” line of Reebok. The first two pair were released last month and sold out in 10 minutes. Honoring the success of Swizzy line of sneakers and in preparation for the release of the next two colorways ( grey & green and black, white & orange), Rick Ross remixed “Tupac Back” and titled the new track “Reebok Back” Ft. Meek Mill and Swizz Beatz. The new colorways will be released this upcoming Friday (June 10). Listen to the audio below:
