In my opinion, Rick Ross is becoming one of the best rappers to ever come out of Miami. What he’s doing for Hip-Hop is unbelievable. Over the years, he proved that rappers from the South are lyrical emcee’s. He sold gold and platinum albums, tour around the world, sold out arenas across the country, has been featured in some of the most respected music publications and collaborated with some of the greatest rappers; such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Mobb Deep. Also, Ross recently launched his own record label, titled Maybach Music Group.
In my opinion, Christopher Wallace a.k.a. The Notorious B.I.G. was more than just a rapper, he’s considered by many to be one of the greatest MC’s to ever pick up a mic or spit a 16. Most MC’s who came out in the 90′s and beyond owe respect to the “Player President.” He lived Notorious and was the Black Frank White. How can we ever forget about “Big Poppa” with classics like “Juicy” and “Who Shot Ya? He was a black male Stereotyped and misunderstood, but no matter what; he always rep his Brooklyn hood.
Do you guys think Rick Ross “is the Biggie of the South?”
