International pop star Rihanna jet-setted back home to Barbados to spend the Christmas holiday with her family. I think it was a good idea for Riri to go back home for the holiday because in the states we are preparing for a snow storm throughout the Midwest and parts of the East coast. It is already raining hard in the NJ/NY area. Riri was rushed by fans and paparazzi earlier today when she was shopping with her mother in Bridgetown. She dressed in a cute blouse and skinny jeans paired with Christian Louboutin Duvette Pumps. Riri accessorized her outfit with a Chanel Cabas Été 2012 Bag and a gold Louis Vuitton Metal Collar Necklace. Her outfit rocks! The gold necklace brings out the gold on her pumps and her Chanel tote is an eye-catcher. Do you like her fit?

Big Sean Styling In A Fear of God LA Short Sleeve Lambskin Hoodie & Timberland Boots

Rapper Big Sean appeared on BET’s ‘106 & Park’ earlier in the week to debut his “Guap” video. During his appearance, Sean styled in a $750 Fear of God Los Angeles Essential Short Sleeve Lambskin Hoodie paired with black sweat pants and Timberland boots. I like his outfit; very dope! Instead of sweat pants, I would have worn black jeans. I’m not a fan of sweat pants. Big Sean’s sophomore LP, Hall Of Fame: Memoirs Of A Detroit Player has been pushed back until early 2013.

Who Wore It Better? Melanie Fiona & Angela Yee In $1,995 Christian Louboutin Bandita Boots

Last weekend, the VH1 Divas aired live from Los Angeles. One of the biggest moments from the show was the Whitney Houston tribute which was performed by Jordin Sparks, Ledisi and Melanie Fiona. The ladies performance was soulful and up to par. They had everyone in attendance standing up as they performed “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay”, and “How Will I Know.” For her set, Melanie Fiona styled in Proenza Schuler and $1,995 Christian Louboutin Bandita Boots. She is so pretty! Her skin is so flawless and she is very talented.

Earlier in the week, New York’s Power 105 FM celebrated their 2 year anniversary party with a concert at the Best Buy Theater followed by an after party at the Aspen Social Club. For the event, on-air personality Angela Yee wore a peach colored top and black leggings paired with $1,995 Christian Louboutin Bandita Boots. If you know Angela, then you already know that she has a mean shoe game! Her shoe collection is worth around $100,000.

French Montana’s ‘Excuse My French’ Arrives In 2013; Did He Gravitate Toward The Southern Rap Audience More Once He Got Signed?

Bad Boy/Interscope rapper French Montana is scheduled to drop his long-delayed debut album, Excuse My French on March 12, which is three days after the 16th year anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G’s death. The album is being executive produced by Diddy and Rick Ross and features the Southern inspired lead single “Pop That” Ft. Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Drake which also samples Uncle Luke. The album’s second single “Marble Floors” Ft. Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and 2 Chainz is also inspired by the Southern rap audience. Nicki Minaj, M.I.A., The Weeknd, Wiz Khalifa, Lana Del Rey, Max-B, Wale & Ma$e are also featured on the album.

Did French Montana gravitate toward the Southern rap audience more once he got signed? His music does not sound like traditional New York Hip-Hop music. Many people believes that Montana music is now for the Southern Hip-Hop audience. What are your thought? Did Montana forget about his New York stomping grounds once he went mainstream?

G.O.O.D. Music singer Teyana Taylor Instagram’d a picture of herself wearing a pair of Reebok Question “Black/Gold”. These kicks are scheduled to hit Reebok retailers on December 29th.

Epic Records recording artist Ciara was spotted on the California coast. Paparazzi caught the Atlanta native leaving her dance rehearsals in Hollywood. She kept it funky in a $319 A.L.C. Wool & Leather Lennon Bomber jacket and ripped jeans paired with black biker boots.

The no-talented Diamond (what does she do?), who is used to being sponsor by rappers with money was photo’d modeling Married To The Mob clothing. Hopefully, the brand paid her good because we all heard those rumors about her wearing fake Christian Louboutin shoes.

Carmelo Anthony’s Melo M9 ‘Christmas Colorway’ Sneaker Arrives Next Year; Plus Talks Watch Collection

Fashionable NBA player Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks is set to launch his new Melo M9 ‘Christmas Colorway’ sneakers on January 9. The designs from these kicks were inspired by Melo’s luxury watches. “I love the movement inside Tourbillon Watches,” Anthony said. “It’s just beautiful, so I wanted to incorporate that into the design of the shoe.” The M9 features a full 3M reflective grey upper with all-over elephant print detailing, green and red pull-tabs and ribbon-like cables in the upper, which are part of the newly developed “dynamic system” by Jordan Brand.

Melo’s will debut the M9 (his signature shoe) Tuesday December 25th (Christmas Day), during the Knicks vs. Lakers game. Below Melo talks about his earliest basketball memory, luxury watches, hidden talents and favorite vacation spot:

Earliest basketball memory: “Watching the 1992 Dream Team changed my mindset about the game. I really started loving and enjoying basketball after that.”

Exclusive: Gee Roberson Forms New Label, Blueprint, Through Interscope Geffen A&M; Signs Hit Boy & LEP Bogus Boys

Music executive and Geffen Records Chairman Gee Roberson has expanded his brand/empire by launching a new label, Blueprint which will be distributed by Interscope Geffen A&M. Back in June, Gee Roberson was appointed Chairman of Geffen and he signed his first artist, Dominic Lord a few weeks ago. Gee Robinson also serves as co-CEO of Hip Hop Since 1978, the management firm that handles Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Drake and more.

Roberson’s new label was announced today by Interscope Geffen A&M Chairman/CEO Jimmy Iovine and President John Janick. According to Billboard, “The company describes the move as “consistent and in further consolidation of Roberson’s other highly successful entertainment interests including managerial and artist development company Blueprint Group,” of which he remains co-CEO. New leadership for Geffen will be announced early next year, a spokesperson for the company told Billboard.biz. Several artists on the Geffen roster are expected to join Roberson at the New York-based label,  including  rapper/producer Hit-Boy and Chicago hardcore rappers LEP Bogus Boys.”

“I’m very happy about the knowledge and experience I gained at Geffen that will be very useful going forward in the future.” Roberson said. “Now it’s time to go back to my roots, that entrepreneurial spirit, wrap my arms around my own label and fold it into Interscope Geffen A&M.  Based on the relationship I already have with Jimmy and everyone at the label, this is a very natural move that’s filled with synergies.”

Iovine added, “Gee has an extraordinary entrepreneurial instinct and that spirit has always been an important part of our company. John and I are thrilled at the opportunity to partner with Gee on his latest venture.”

Nicki Minaj Paid $5 Million To Host NYE Party?

I am not sure how true this is but word in the industry is that YMCMB’s platinum-selling rapper, Nicki Minaj was paid $5 million to host a New Year’s Eve party at PURE Nightclub in Las Vegas on Monday (December 31). It is unclear if Minaj will be performing or her exact hosting duties, but for $5 milli, she better put on a mini concert and interact with the people in attendance. Beyoncé also reportedly earned $4 million to host a NYE party in Vegas. Last week, Minaj was in Los Angeles for the taping of American Idol. Season 12 premieres Wednesday January 16 at 8/7c on Fox.

Music artist and fashion designer Kanye West was spotted shopping at Montaigne Market in Paris. As always, the fashionable rapper was styling. He wore a Lanvin Coat With Fur Collar which is from the Brand’s Fall 2012 collection. This coat is available on the brand’s online store for $5,536. Kanye also wore a Balmain hoodie.

Last month, I posted a picture of music producer Pharrell Williams and Diddy in Paris. The twosome was spotted shopping at a high-end boutique. During their shopping trip, Pharrell also wore this $5,536 Lanvin Coat With Fur Collar which he wore over a grey sweater and blue jeans. Do you like this coat?
