Last night Saturday (September 1), Swizz Beatz joined his good for Jay-Z at the 1st annual ‘Made In America’ concert in Philly. Jigga brought out Swizzy and they performed “On To The Next One”. During his performance, Swizz Beatz wore a $335 Graphic Angel Crest Tee-Shirt from Givenchy Fall/Winter 2012 collection paired with black leather shorts and his Reebok sneakers. Swizzy accessorized his outfit with a black leather baseball cap and dark sunglasses. Swizzy is very stylish, I like his style!
Back in June, I posted a picture of Pusha T wearing this shirt as well during New York’s Hot 97‘s ‘Summerjam’ concert. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper wore his shirt with black jeans and a hoodie wrapped around his neck, paired with Christian Louboutin sneakers. Pusha accessorized his outfit with a black snapback. Thanks to Jay-Z and Kanye West, a lot of rappers are wearing pieces from the popular upscale French fashion house.
A lot of celebs are traveling all around the world for this Labor Day weekend. Last night Saturday (September 1), the King of partying (Diddy) hosted his ‘Sexiest Party In The City’ in Vegas at the Paris Hotel. Diddy’s girlfriend Cassie accompanied him to the event. Draya and Chris Brown were also in attendance. DJ SNS was on the 1’s and 2’s playing some of the hottest records. Diddy also gave a moment of silence to tribute his former manager Chris Lighty who passed away last week. The cause of Lighty’s death has been ruled a homicide. Diddy and Chris Brown partied it up and popped bottles all night. Speaking of Chris Brown, what is this guy doing to himself? He is ruining his image. Peep the pics below:
Over this weekend, music artist/fashion designer Kanye West and his reality star girlfriend Kim Kardashian were spotted on a movie date in Manhattan. As always, the twosome was styling on those lames and hoes. Yeezy sported a $180 grey Robert Geller tee-shirt and black leather pants paired with Air Jordan Retro 1 “Black/Red”. Kimmy wore a Celine Peplum top and black skirt paired with $589 Celine Black Velvet Mulese sandals. Are you feeling Ye and Kim as a couple and what is your verdict on their outfits?
Yesterday Saturday (September 1), Jay-Z kicked off Day 1 of his ‘Made In America’ concert in Philly and your truly Don Bleek was in the city of Brotherly Love to witness history. Taking the stage around 9:30pm, Jay-Z walked down the stairs wearing a Brooklyn Nets cap, Givenchy tee-shirt and black jeans paired with Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Black/Solar Red” while the lyrics to “Made In America” off Watch The Throne played in the background. Jay-Z opened up his set with “Public Service Announcement (Interlude)” which is the 10 track on his 2003’s The Black Album, followed by a message from our President Barack Obama. Jigga performed his long list of hits including “99 Problems”, “Encore”, Jigga What Jigga Who”, “Jigga (What’s My Name)”, “Bonnie & Clyde”, “Big Pimpin” and many more tracks during his hour-long set. He also had a Roc-A-Fella/State Property reunion by bringing out Memphis Bleek, Freeway and Young Chris & Neef Buck (Young Gunz), followed by Swizz Beatz for “On To The Next One”.
Around 10:30, Jigga left the stage toward the end of his “Encore” performance. As the over-hyped Philadelphians started screaming “Hova Hova Hova”, Jigga said, “Philadelphia since you’ve been so good to me, I’m going to be good to you”. After that, the stage sparked fireworks and then G.O.O.D Music’s Pusha T, Big Sean and Kanye West ran on the stage rapping “I Don’t Like (Remix)” followed by Kanye’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and “New God Flow”. G.O.O.D Music also performed Kanye’s “Way Too Cold” and Big Sean’s “A$$” before Common rushed the stage performing his chart-topping single “The Light”. G.O.O.D. Music closed out their set by performing “Mercy”, bringing out 2 Chainz. The fellas all rocked G.O.O.D. Music ‘Angel tee-shirts paired with Air Nike Yeezy 2 “Black/Solar Red” or Air Jordan sneakers. After they got done performing “Mercy”, they all lined up and turned their backs to the crowd to show off their matching shirts.
Finally, Jigga came back to the stage and closed out the Day 1 of his ‘Made In America’ concert with “N****s In Paris” Ft. Kanye West.
