For their shopping trip, Kanye styled in a tan blazer with the matching striped pants and white tee-shirt paired with $615 Balenciaga Cotes High Trainer sneakers. Kimmy got glammed up in a black dress paired with $1,695 Givenchy Pre-Fall 2012 Textured- Leather-Fold Over Knee Boots. Solange Visits The Motherland To Film Her New Visual “Losing You”

The very beautiful and creative Solange Knowles recently traveled back to the motherland (Africa) to film her new visual “Losing You”. She shot scenes in Cape Town, South Africa. The track will appear on Solange’s upcoming album that she is working on. ELLE South Africa‘s Fashion Director, Asanda Sizaniwas styled Solange for this visual. Moma Knowles and Andre Harrell accompanied Solange to South Africa for the shoot.

The YBF mentioned that Solange told the Sunday Times, “The locations for my video will largely be inspired by the color in the architecture and townships around here. We’ll just take a camera and see what happens.” She also described “Losing You” as “eclectic with ’80s references and African percussion influences”.

Beyonce Is NOT Feeling Kim Kardashian; She Gave Her The Cold Shoulder AGAIN!

A friendship should never be forced! It is something that is real and I value my friendship that I have with my friends inside and outside of the entertainment industry. Beyoncé already gave Kim Kardashian the cold shoulder a couple of months ago and Kim is still trying to be friends with Bey. Just let it go and move on! Bey does not want to be friends with Kim. According to the New York Daily News, Kim Kardashian’s repeated attempts to befriend Bey go bust and they barely spoke to each other during Jay-Z’s ‘Made In America’ concert in Philly.

“A source tells Confidenti@l that the 16-time Grammy winner gave Kardashian a serious reality check on Saturday night. Kim and Beyoncé barely spoke to each other. They were on opposite sides of the stage. Beyoncé didn’t even acknowledge Kardashian was there until the concert was almost over. But we hear it wasn’t just Beyoncé giving the cold shoulder this time around. Kardashian didn’t make any efforts to go speak to Beyoncé either. Eventually, the women “made small talk in the dressing room, but you could tell Kim was uncomfortable. She clung onto Kanye the entire time and didn’t say much. Kardashian was talking to Jonathan (her best friend that she came with), and Kanye was talking to Jay-Z and Beyoncé.”

Celebs Style: Monica And LeToya Luckett Carrying A Celine Bag & Wearing Killer Heels

Over this past weekend, some celebs made their rounds in Atlanta for rapper Ludacris ‘Luda-Weekend’. R&B songstress Monica attended ‘Luda Celebrity Basketball Game’ at Morehouse College. She was styling on those hoes in a plaid top and white jeans paired with $200 Ash Thelma Wedge sneakers heels. Monica accessorized her outfit with a Celine Luggage Red Crocodile Pattern bag. I love her style!

The beautiful, sweet and loving LeToya Luckett also attended Luda’s celebrity basketball game. For the event, she got all glammed-up in a cream silk blouse and ripped jeans paired with $1,495 Lady Peep Painted Multicolor Python Christian Louboutin. LeToya accessorized her outfit with a red Celine tote bag and grey sunglasses. She is just too cute!

New Music: Alicia Keys Ft. Nicki Minaj “Girl On Fire (Inferno Version)”

Alicia Keys has been on fire since she came in the game and went mainstream in the early 2000’s; too bad her new track “Girl On Fire (Inferno Version) Ft. Nicki Minaj isn’t.  The track serves as a single off her upcoming album, Girl On Fire which arrives on November 27th. I’m hearing that there will be another rendition called “Blue Light”. A. Keys always put out good music but this track just isn’t working. She needs to go back to her true R&B/Pop roots if she wants to light the charts on fire again. Listen to the audio below:

Beyonce & Jay-Z Photo’d Hugged Up In Philly At Day 2 Of ‘Made In America’ Concert

Yesterday Sunday (August 2), was day two and the final day of Jay-Z’s ‘Made In America’ concert in Philly. During day one, Jay-Z brought out Kanye West & G.O.O.D. Music, Swizz Beatz and State Property. Last night Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé were photo’d hugged up backstage trying to stay dry in the rainy weather. The twosome also held hands as they made their grand entrance and exit. After watching Run DMC shut down the stage, Jay-Z took the stage to performed “99 Problems” with Pearl Jam. I love the Givenchy jacket that Jay had on and Bey looked cute in her Brooklyn tee-shirt, black leggings and knee boots.

Nas & Lauryn Hill Spotted On The Town At Rock The Bells In Dirty Jerz; Then Pop Bottles With DJ Envy In Queens

It must be a Queens story and a Dirty Jerz thing! I’m so happy to be from Dirty Jerz (the home of Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Queen Latifah, Naughty by Nature, Akon & Joe Budden). Over this past weekend during the ‘Rock The Bells’ concert in New Jersey, Nas took the stage to perform some of his long list of hits. Nasty Nas surprised the crowd by bringing out Lauryn Hill to perform their 90’s classic “If I Ruled The World”. The track appeared on Nas, It Was Written album which dropped in 1996. After the concert, Nas headed over to his stomping grounds (Queens) to celebrate his friend and New York’s Power 105’s DJ, DJ Envy birthday party.

Nas tweeted, “We in Queensbridge right now blastin on HIP HOP I wish @BrotherMob was out here wit us. Realest hood in the world.” And  DJ Envy tweeted, “Every Club tonight was rammed!!!!!!! 3 birthday parties.” Peep Nas and Lauryn Hill ‘Rock The Bells performance below:
