Pharrell Williams Speaks On Losing His Virginity At 16 & Liking Powerful Women

Music producer and fashion designer Pharrell Williams made his rounds during New York’s Fashion Week. The 39-year-old mogul is engaged to his son’s (Rocket) mother, model and designer Helen Lasichanh. The press caught up with the V.A. native on the red carpet and he spoke about liking powerful women, losing his virginity at a young age, and he also admitted that he does not like it when females play games. Below are some excerpts:

On liking powerful women:

“I like powerful women – women with some life experience – and I’m very attracted to intelligence.”

On losing his virginity at a young age:

“I lost my virginity when I was 16. She was older than me, and age has been a fetish of mine ever since.”

On females that plays game:

“No games! That’s a major turn-off. A girl who plays games makes me run the other way because I’m like, ‘This chick is crazy’. Just keep it honest, fun and light.”

Lil Kim was spotted on the scene! The Queen Bee made her way back home for New York’s Fashion Week. Lil Kim and Angela Simmons sat front row at the Nina Skarra show over this weekend. For the event, Kim wore a satin grey top and gold floor-length dress. Angela Simmons opted for a short white dress paired with black heels.

Over at the Lincoln Center, Tika Sumpter and Gold Medalist Sanya Richards-Ross attended the Rebecca Minkoff show. She was all glammed-up in a white skirt with cheetah side panels, and a blue & white jacket over a cropped corset.

Nicole Murphy was spotted on the red carpet for Harlem’s Fashion Row 5th Anniversary at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Alicia Keys Goes Black & White For Fashion’s Night Out And Sports A Short Hairdo

Yesterday Saturday (September 8), Alicia Keys attended Edun Spring 2013 NY Fashion Week show. She chose to wear black and white two-tone Rag & Bone jeans and a white blouse paired with black pumps for the event which was held at Skylight Studios at Moynihan Station. Jay-Z, Beyonce, Baby Blue Ivy & Mamma Jay-Z Wrapped-Up Their Vacation In The South Of France

It’s a wrapped! After a week of relaxing on a yacht in the South of France, dining at Michelangelo Restaurant in Antibes, France, walking on the land and jet skiing around the Mediterranean Sea; Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Baby Blue Ivy and Mamma Jay-Z (Ms. Gloria Carter), wrapped-up their vacation and are headed back to the states. They hopped off their small motorized boat barefoot and made their way to the car to take them back to the heliport. Beyoncé looked cute in a long floral dress! Jay-Z kept it casual but dope in a $475 Givenchy Burnout Flag Colombian Fit Tee-Shirt and camo pants paired with Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Black/Solar Red”.

Angela Simmons & Rocsi Attend Olcay Gulsen Spring/Summer 2013 Show

New York’s Fashion’s Night Out is still taking place and I have some more updates. Socialite Angela Simmons and TV Host Rocsi Diaz attended Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week for the Olcay Gulsen Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Show at Academy Mansion. Alicia Keys is back! Fresh off her 2012 MTV VMA’s and Stand Up to Cancer performances, A. Keys releases her new track “Not Even The King”. She sang her heart out over this piano-driven melody. Is it me or does A. Keys sounds like the 20-year-old young woman that we were introduced to over a decade ago? This track will appear on her upcoming album, Girl On Fire which arrives on November 27.
