BANG BANG! Rick Ross & Young Jeezy Brawl At The BET Hip Hop Awards; Gun Shots Erupted

The 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards is currently tapping in Atlanta at The Boisfeuillet Jones Atlantic Civic Center and will feature performances by 2 Chainz, T.I., Rick Ross and others. This year’s Mike Epps hosted show will also feature a tribute to the late great Chris Lighty (50 Cent, Fat Joe & Missy will be sharing the same stage). Rappers are back to fighting and shooting at award shows. Rick Ross and Young Jeezy just took their beef to the streets. Below is how TMZ is reporting the story:

“A fight broke out backstage at the BET Hip Hop Awards tonight between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy that resulted in shots being fired .. sources at the awards tell TMZ.  According to our sources, Ross and Jeezy exchanged words backstage and started pushing and shoving each other. We’re told BET security and bodyguards for each of the rappers eventually separated the two. Our sources on the scene say that after the fight had been broken up, a member of Rick Ross’ entourage pulled out a gun while in the parking lot and shots were fired. It is unclear if the man was arrested. We’re told Jeezy and Ross are still at the awards, which are being taped tonight in Atlanta and air next month.”

UPDATE 3: Now it is being reported that 50 Cent and Diddy got into it backstage.

UPDATE 2: It is also being reported that Gunplay and New York/G-Unit’s rapper and CEO 50 Cent got into a heated altercation.

UPDATE 1: Sources are reporting that Rick Ross’ right hand goon and artist Gunplay was the one who fired the shots. It has not been confirmed if he was arrested or not.

Styling On Those Hoes: Emily B Carrying A Celine Boston Bag & Wearing Giuseppe Zanotti Platform Bow Sandals

In the words of her boyfriend Fabolous, “Girl you be killin em“! Last month reality style and fashion designer Emily B took the panel with other women in reality TV including Yandy Smith, MaShonda, Adrienne Bailon and Andrea Kelly for the PROJECT REALism at New York’s Helen Mills Theater. The event took place to discuss reality TV and its impact on young women. The women on the panel, held by WEEN, gave the people who were in attendance a chance to voice their opinions about reality TV as well as ways to create a more positive way for women of color on reality shows. For the event, Emily dressed-up in a semi-sheer lime green blouse and black pencil skirt paired with $895 Giuseppe Zanotti Platform Bow Sandals. Emily last wore these sandals in July while at Russell Simmon’s Manhattan office. She accessorized her outfit with a Moschino belt and Celine Boston Bag which is currently sold out. Victor Cruz Hit Up The Barclays Center In A In A $560 Givenchy Star Striped Red & Black Cotton Jersey Sweater & Air Jordan VI (6) Retro

NFL player Victor Cruz of the New York Giants attended the opening night of Jay-Z’s concert at Brooklyn’s newly Barclays Center (the home that Hova built) last night Friday (September 28). For the event, Victor styled in a Givenchy’s Star Striped Red & Black Cotton Jersey which is from their Fall/Winter 2012 collection. This ‘American Dream’ inspired sweater feature black and red stripes, circled star applique around the neck and ribbed trim. You can purchase it at Mr Porter for $560. MMG rapper Meek Mill also wore this sweater in DJ Drama’s “My Moment” visual. Victor paired his sweater with black jeans and  a pair of Air Jordan VI (6) Retro Black/Varsity Red. Paparazzi Caught Alicia Keys In London; Plus She Premiered “Brand New Me” During iTunes Festival

Singer Alicia Keys was photo in London earlier in the week. She was bundle up in a blue jacket, sweater and jeans paired with Christian Louboutin Ankle Boots. She accessorized her outfit with a colorful scarf and dark sunglasses. A. Keys is in the capital city of England to promote her upcoming album Girl On Fire which arrives November 27. Last night Friday (September 28), during the 2012 iTunes Festival in London, A Keys performed a 15-song set including “Fallin”, “New Day”, “You Don’t Know My Name”, and “Girl On Fire”. Jay-Z Hosts D’USSE VIP At Barclays Center + 40/40 Club After Party [20 Pics With Tons Of Celebs]

Last night Friday (September 28), Jay-Z kicked off the opening night of his eight shows at Brooklyn’s newly Barclays Center (the home that he built) and he rocked the stage for a sold out crowd. Before my IDOL took the stage, visuals played of other big moments in Brooklyn including the borough’s founding, the competition of the Brooklyn Bridge in 1883, and the demolition of Ebbets Field in 1960. A little after 10pm, Jay took the stage performing “Where I’m From”. He also covered the late great Biggie Smalls “Kick In The Door” and “Juicy” as an image of Biggie appeared on the hi-res screens. Jay-Z also recited a new verse, followed by “Big Pimpin”, “Marcyville”, “Hard Knock Life”, “Encore” and “What More Can I Say”. “Tonight is a celebration of the borough where I’m from,” said Jay-Z who was then joined onstage by Hip Hop’s legend Big Daddy Kane for “Ain’t No Half Steppin”. Jay-Z then took the stage again to perform his verse to G.O.O.D. Music’s “Clique”. He closed out last night’s show with “Young Forever”.

Afterwards, the power couple stopped by the 40/40 Club where Jay-Z continued the celebration with D’USSE Cognac bottle service and a close crew including Irv Gotti, Memphis Bleek, Nets Player Jerry Stackhouse, Dave Chappelle, Lil Bow Wow and more.

Kanye West Attends Christian Dior Fashion Show In Paris Wearing A Pair Of Air Jordan 1 “Bred”

Rapper and fashion designer Kanye West was spotted across the pond for ‘Paris Fashion Week’. Yeezy styled in a black blazer, oversized tee-shirt and leather pants paired with Air Jordan 1 “Bred” for the Christian Dior womenswear show yesterday Friday (September 28).

Yeezy was working on his own womenswear collection but as far as the current status of KW by Kanye West, we don’t know if it is still in existing or discontinued but we do know that Karla Otto, which represents the KW Collection, confirmed to WWD that the music artist will not show a Spring 2013 collection in Paris this week.

Jeezy Partied It Up In Atlanta For His 34th Birthday With T.I. & Tiny, Gucci Mane, Usher, Meek Mill & More

CTE/Def Jam’s rapper Young Jeezy celebrated his 34th birthday at Atlanta’s Bitmore Ballroom this past Thursday (September 27). Jeezy looked all dapper in a black suit. He sure did clean up good. Thugs can dress-well too! T.I. and his wife Tiny, Gucci Mane, Usher, Meek Mill, Lisa Wu Hartwell, Keke Wyatt and Verse Simmons were also in attendance. I heard the bottles of Rose Moet were flowing and Jeezy shut the city down. This is the BET Awards weekend. The show is being tapped tonight and will air next month. Peep the pics below:
