Last night Friday (September 14), Rev Run’s daughter Angela Simmons celebrated her 25th birthday at the Martin Lawrence Gallery in NYC. The PYNK magazine hosted star-studded birthday bash featured guest appearances by Angela’s Father Rev Run, Uncle Russell Simmons, Sister Vanessa and her mother. NBA player J.R. Smith of the New York Knicks, actress Tika Sumpter, rapper Theophilus London, and Tamar & Vincent also partied it up with Angela. She got all glammed-up in a black zipper embellished dress she co-designed with Edwing D’Angelo. Singer Bridget Kelly sang “Happy Birthday” to Angela.

Rihanna Shooting Her SECOND American VOGUE Cover; Plus Working On New Album

International pop singer Rihanna was recently spotted leaving Arts Club in London. She styled in an orange outfit for the event. Riri is gearing up to shoot her second American VOGUE cover. The shoot is with famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

In related Riri news, she is set to release her new single on September 17, followed by a new album in November. Her ‘Diamond World’ tour kicks off in Buffalo, New York in March 2013.

Lil Kim And Kelly Osbourne Team Up For A Rock/Rap Fusion Collaboration, Entitled “The B**ch Is Back”

Lil Kim fans have been waiting a very long time for some new music. Well, I have some good news to all the Lil Kim Fans, the Queen Bee is working on a Rock/Rap fusion track with Kelly Osbourne for her new album. Kim has always been unpredictable and ahead of her time. It sounds like she is moving in a different musical direction. I truly believe once you mastered a craft, it is time for you to reinvent yourself and take your career in another direction.

According to Contact Music, “The pair bonded over their love for fashion, and the rapper confirmed they are working on a song when they were spotted backstage at designer Betsey Johnson’s New York Fashion Week show on Wednesday (Sept. 12). Lil’ Kim hinted the track will be a hip-hop version of Elton John’s 1974 single “The B**ch Is Back”, telling the New York Post, ‘I am telling you first that Kelly Osbourne and I are working on a record together! It’s titled “The B**ch Is Back”. It is a blend of British rock and rap and you won’t believe your ears when you hear it! I have been talking with Elton John as well.'”
