Wining & Dining In France: Jay-Z & Beyonce Spotted At The Michelangelo Restaurant

After boarding a private jet to the Mediterranean Sea and relaxing on a yacht, Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé left Blue Ivy with the babysitter, enjoyed some quality time and went on a romantic date in the South of France. The twosome was spotted wining and dining at Michelangelo Restaurant in Antibes, France. They are so happy together! By the way, The Carters are my second favorite celeb couple. Melo and Lala is my first!  According to Forbes, Jay-Z ranked in $38 million in the last year.

Official Launch Details/Product: Alicia Keys x Reebok Collection; Plus Her Q&A With The Fashion Brand

As a part of the new partnership, Keys will be featured in Reebok Classics’ FW12 global campaign with the launch of a signature limited edition collection for Reebok Classics.  In her collaboration with Reebok, Keys is launching her own signature collection for FW12, which includes new takes on the Freestyle Hi (also known as the 5411), Freestyle Double Bubble, Classic Nylon Slim and Princess sneakers, all currently available at Finish Line, Footaction, Macy’s, City Gear, Reebok.com as well as additional retailers nationwide.

A true creative talent, Alicia worked with Reebok’s product design teams on every aspect of the collection, from picking her favorite Classics silhouettes to selecting materials and colorways. The resulting collection, with luxe fabrics, on-trend styles and statement-making elements is sure to appeal to trendsetters in their late teens and early twenties.

To support the launch of her new collection, Reebok will premiere a new Classics campaign, starring Alicia Keys, tonight September 6, 2012 during the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. Directed by Samuel Bayer, the TV commercial showcases Keys’ soul-searching journey to the top against the world’s greatest canvas and Keys’ hometown – New York City.

Lil Scrappy & Erica’s TOPLESS Rolling Out Cover; Talks Engagement And Being Happy

Scrappy sure did put a ring on it! During Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta ‘Reunion’ Scrappy got on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend/daughter’s mother Erica and she said yes. The newly engaged southern couple is covering this week’s issue of Rolling Out. Inside, Erica chatted about being happy and Scrappy talked about why he popped the question to Erica. Below are some excerpts:

Erica on being in a good space and being happy:

“I’m in a very good place in my life right now,” she shared, while watching Scrappy take some solo photos. “I learned so much about myself through this process with the show, and now I’m just looking forward to this next chapter in my life.”

Scrappy on why he popped the question to Erica:

“It was time for me to do something really grown,” he shared. “So I popped the question and the beautiful lady said yes … that’s why she has the ring on her finger. But now we’re just waiting for the next big step. I wasn’t trying to play around with it for a hundred years. I wanted to do something really big.”

Celebs Style: Diamond & Toya Wright Wearing Jeffrey Campbell Heels

Last weekend, rapper Diamond and reality star, author and business owner Toya Wright were spotted glammed-up in Atlanta for rapper Ludacris ‘Luda-Weekend’. They attended ‘Luda Celebrity Basketball Game’ at Morehouse College. For the event, Diamond wore a lime-green top and black skinnies paired with camo & mirror metallic Jeffrey Campbell heels. She accessorized her outfit with a snakeskin clutch. Toya opted for a more simple black and white look in a black top and leggings paired with $188 Jeffrey Campbell Spike Platform Boots. Wiz Khalifa Wig Get Pushed Back Again; Announces Taylor Gang ‘2050 Tour’

I’m sorry to inform the fans, but Wiz Khalifa’s sophomore album will not hit shelves and iTunes on September 18. As of press, the new date has not been revealed. With no second single, a lack of promotion and “Work Hard, Play Hard” not making much of an impact, I knew that the album was going to get pushed back. Has Wiz fallen off? His rep confirmed the news to Billboard.

On a positive note, Wiz is embarking on a 36-city North America tour which will feature his Taylor Gang crew (Juicy J, Chevy Woods, Lola Monroe, Tuki Carter and Berner). The ‘2050 Tour’ kicks off on October 12 in State Park, PA at the Bryce Jordan Center and will make stops in major markets including Chicago, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Orlando, Houston and Cleveland before wrapping up on December 6 at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA. Tickets for the “2050 Tour” go on sales Friday, September 7 through Wiz Khalifa’s official website. For her televised appearance, Kim got all glammed-up in $1,195 Christian Louboutin Pigalle Spikes Pumps paired with a $3,590 red Lanvin Sleeveless Ruffle Neoprene Dress. I’m not usually a fan of red-on-red but somehow Kimmy made this outfit work. What is your verdict on her outfit?

Ashanti Announces Her New Hosting Duties; New Album ‘Braveheart’ Dropping Next Year

Yesterday Wednesday (September 5), singer Ashanti stopped by the Today show to talk about and promote her upcoming projects. Aside from gearing up to release her forthcoming album, Braveheart which is scheduled to hit stores and iTunes in 2013, Ashanti now serves as executive producer and anchor of Fuse News.

She compared the show to MTV’s ‘TRL’, “It’s basically a music news show that’s kinda filling the void. This is something I think we’re going to pioneer and inject something back into music.”

On her new album Braveheart. “It’s something for women, just being empowering. This album is something very deep,” said Ashanti. She then added, “I’m going places that I haven’t gone on different albums.”

On being the CEO & Founder of  her label Written Entertainment and being hands on with everything. “It is so important to be hands-on with everything that you are doing. The world perceives you as who you are and your image, and you have to have everything to do with it. So you have to take responsibility and be a part of your brand.”
